King Royal Kratom Shot Review

King Royal

King Royal Liquid Kratom Extract Experience

Product: King Royal Premium Kratom Shot (10 ml)

Rating:

Manufacturer: King Royal (???)

Website: [Smoke Shop only]

Cost: $14.99

General Information

General Info

I have seen King Royal before, I may have even reviewed one of their kratom products, although this one looked new to me. This container is glass, easy to open, and the liquid smells fairly similar to most kratom extracts. The company is obscure in their identification. I assume it’s made by “King Royal,” however, their QR code either doesn’t work or is too small for me to handle.  I literally didn’t have the patience to wait for my camera to identify it and try to open the website.   There isn’t much on the bottle, although it does state it is “made in the USA,” and uses the “highest quality kratom.”

Administration

Unfortunately, there is no use instructions or supplement facts panel, a huge negative for me. I chose to consume this entire liquid shot after eating a tuna sub from a really good local sub shop.

Effects / Experience

After about 20 minutes or so, I began to feel a light kratom buzz, a small euphoria, and a light-headedness.  These effects lasted about 10-15 minutes before dithering out and leaving me feeling slightly ill.  I would say I took too much, although the effects themselves (the positive effects) would have been greater if that were the case.

Final Notes

QR Code

I cannot in good conscious give this product anything better than a 2 star review. The reason it doesn’t receive a 1 star review, is because it did provide SOME positive effects. The negative effects weren’t so bad, but still made me sick enough to lower it a couple stars, and the lack of supplement facts or usage instructions lowered it even further. Still, I would not recommend this product and largely felt it was a waste of money and time.

Earth Kratom Organic Liquid Maeng Da Shot

Earth Kratom Organic Shot Review

Product: Liquid Maeng Da Extract Liquid Kratom (16 ml)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Earth Kratom Organic

Website: https://earthkratom.com/product/kratom-beyond-extract-liquid-16ml/

Cost: $22.99

General Information

General Info

I have reviewed Earth Kratom products before, however, this product struck me as unique for its price. It was expensive to find in a headshop. It is almost that expensive online as well.  The container is sleek, small, and dark in color.  The label is hard to read. The warning states it is for ceremonial or incense purposes only. How you would use this liquid extract as an incense is beyond me, however, clearly it is for consumption.  I did notice the warning that the manufacturer is not responsible for any misuse of the product. Still, I decided to give it a shot.

Administration

There are no supplement usage facts on the bottle. I assume one container is one serving, so I took the entire shot with nothing on my stomach but a Nestle Crunch bar and a glass of water.  Tasted terrible, smelled terrible, and left an awful aftertaste and a thick film over my tongue that was impossible to even scrape off.

Effects / Experience

Bali

I began feeling the positive kratom effects (happiness, talkativeness, light hearted feelings, emotional empathy, and euphoria) about 15 minutes in. This lasted about 10 minutes. I felt a powerful onset of nausea after about 25 minutes. The nausea persisted for about an hour. I assume if you took this in portions, it might be better, however, the grossness of the experience left me wanting nothing to do with it.  The thought of it makes me a little ill.

Final Notes

Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. I found it overpriced and underperforming.  The liquid tasted terrible and was filled with a residue, sort of rough sediment that made me unsettled. I got sick from this one for a good hour, something I’m not too found of but happens with some of the bad kratom extracts. It reminds me of one of the terrible OPMS shots.  The container was hard to open, the label was hard to read, there was no supplement facts panel and they blatantly discourage using it for consumption. Altogether, this is NOT one of the kratom products I would recommend and it only earns a 2 star Fat Sammy review.

Groovy Fine Kratom Elixir Review

Groovy

Does Groovy Kratom Elixir Work?

Product: Groovy Fine Kratom Elixir Red Extract (12 ml)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Groovy Fine

Website: [only available in head shops and smoke shops]

Cost: $17.99

General Information

General Info

This product was purchased at a local smoke shop.  It came wrapped in a cool little “Groovy Fine” baggie, and was a bright colored tube that I found easy to reseal if I had chosen not to consume it all at once. The label is harder to read, but contained all of your normal disclaimers. Given it states it is a “red extract”, I assumed this meant red vein kratom, which I usually find more sedating than energizing.  The inside seal under the lid was rubber, which I found nice and professional.

Administration

This product contained no supplement facts panel, a huge negative in my book. However, I assumed consuming the entire container was probably equivalent to one serving size, so I did so on an empty stomach, along with a glass of apple juice to tone the flavor done some.

Effects / Experience

I felt a pretty decent kratom buzz about 25 minutes after consumption.  The effects lasted about half an hour. Kind of short for the price, but still enjoyable, with no real downside. It did not make me sick and it was not sickening to consume it…although I did drink it with an entire glass of apple juice to mask the taste anyway.

Final Notes

The only real downside is that there is no obvious manufacturer or party responsible for making the stuff. I hate when people do that, as you have no idea who could have gone wrong if there was a problem.  It’s probably a cheap Chinese product being upsold at a massive price hike, however, the effects are still good enough to earn it a 2 out of 5 star Fat Sammy Rating. Had they included a supplements facts panel and some manufacturer information (even the company name), I would have given it 3 stars. I would not buy it again, mostly because of the ominous lack of a manufacturer, however, I cannot discourage using this product either.

Zion Herbals Kratom Extract Liquid Review

Zion

Is Zion Herbals 24k Gold Liquid Kratom Worth it?

Product: Zion Herbals 24K Kratom Extract Dropper (15 ml)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Zion Herbals

Website: https://zionherbals.com/

Cost: $16.99

General Information

I have tried another Zion Herbals product, and did not find it awful, so I was excited to give them another chance. Their catchy eye dropper style liquid kratom extract seemed like the right option.  The dropper bottle is just as high quality as any other, the label is a bit hard to read.  This product is marked “24k gold” and contains 15 ml of extract.  Other ingredients include filtered water and lemon juice. Lemon juice is infamous in the kratom industry for improving the extraction technique as it coaxes the alkaloids from the leaf a bit easier.

Administration

Administration

This product is extremely hard to open. Whatever way they have it sealed made me feel like an absolute child trying to open a medicine bottle.  The standard “do not operate heavy machinery or use while pregnant” warnings are on the container. The label states there are 3 servings within each bottle, so I took all three servings within an hour.  I had consumed a grilled cheese sandwich and some fries from a local eatery, along with a glass of milk (from my refrigerator).

Effects / Experience

It took my second drop (serving) of the product to feel any of the light euphoria / giddiness that comes from consuming kratom.  After taking the third drop, I felt great for about 20 minutes.  This is nice, however, I did hope for a longer lasting effect.  The glass dropper made it feel cooler, but is ultimately a bit inconvenient, and sticky…as it gets all over the place and is harder to control.

Final Notes

Caution

Ultimately, this product earns a solid 3 star Fat Sammy Review. It is not nearly as strong as I prefer when it comes to kratom, however, it is also not as weak as many other brands. The eye dropper method of administration (which means sublingual, dropping it under the tongue) is both effective and gross at the same time.  The presentation is professional, and this is the second Zion Herbals product I have reviewed. I can say the company is likely around to stay and will probably come out with much better products soon, but this is a mid-grade kratom extract.  The price is a little expensive, which is one of the reasons it received a 3 star rating (for the experience).

Red Dawn Extra Energy and Mood Shot Review

Red Dawn

Is Red Dawn Energy Shot Any Good?

Product: Red Dawn “Extra Energy” “Extra Mood” (2 fl oz)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Red Dawn Energy

Website: https://www.reddawnenergy.com/

Cost: $14.99

General Information

I have reviewed many Red Dawn Energy products throughout the years. They are a longstanding company with a large, constantly cycling product line.  Many of their products are either bunk or create sick-like feelings that cannot be understated. However, I still always give them a shot, and once in a while they surprise me. This product is particularly scary, coming in a cheap plastic container, see-through, with a dark, ominous liquid on the other side.  Usually, I would assume this is a liquid lean-like product, however, this was not.  This is a caffeine, GABA, phenylbutanoic acid, and 5-htp combination.  Nothing wrong with these ingredients separately, or even in small combinations, however, together, they could be catastrophic.

Administration

The bottle states to consume only half an ounce each time, claiming 4 servings per container.  Ironically, I decided to take this warning seriously this time, and I only consumed one quarter of the bottle (on an empty stomach).  There are some standard warnings on the bottle, including not to consume more than one serving at a time, not to use if you are underage, pregnant, or nursing, and to consult a physician before use.   Then there is about a paragraph about why this is scary to take, if you have any weird side effects to discontinue use, to avoid using if you have any medical conditions, not to use the product if you are more than 15 pounds overweight, not to use if you are sensitive to caffeine, and a slew of other warnings. In fact, I have never seen a product with more warnings. On top of it all, in huge caps, this product states “DO NOT TAKE THE ENTIRE BOTTLE!”  That’s a huge red flag for me, as most people are going to take the entire bottle.

Effects / Experience

After about 20 minutes, I knew I made a grave mistake. This product made me violently ill. I started throwing up everywhere. I couldn’t even make it to a bathroom a couple times, granted I was outdoors traveling with friends at the time on a tourist thing.  Someone else had to drive my car home.  I felt sick for about 12 hours, and even then, didn’t feel right for about a day.  The product also tasted like crap.  So much for that “fruit punch” flavor!

Final Notes

I cannot in good conscious recommend this product to anyone. This was one of the worst products I have ever tried. It was disgusting tasting, it was horrible on my stomach, and it made me violently ill for about a day.  I only took 1 quarter of a bottle, and it ruined my entire weekend.  The price is also expensive, and the bottle is cheap.   The seal is unprofessional, and the liquid was bleeding through the seal, leaking on me the second I cracked the cap.  I will never try this product again and it makes me rethink ever trusting Red Dawn Energy again.

Botanic Tonics Feel Free Kratom Kava Shot Review

Feel Free

Does BotanicTonics Kratom Kava Shot Work?

Product: Feel Free Plant Based tonic (2 fl oz – kratom kava shot)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Botanic Tonics (Santa Monica CA)

Website: https://botanictonics.com/

Cost: $17.99

General Information

I purchased this “feel free” botanic tonics shot from a local head shop.  While they are based in Santa Monica California, it had made its way all the way to the east coast, which gave me incredible confidence in the product itself.  The container is a high quality blueish glass.  The front states their logo, and that it is a “plant based tonic.”  While the lid is a bit cheap, it is still resealable and comparable to that of an airplane bottle of alcohol.  The back of the product has a subtle message, “feel euphoric,” which always makes me excited, as I love a good euphoria product. This does appear to be the only product the company sells.

Administration

The ingredients include both kratom and kava, as well as some flavorful additives such as pineapple juice, coconut cream, and stevia leaf.  The container is one serving size, or 2 fluid ounces.  There is 3500 mg of kratom and 1700 mg of kava, which is where the effects come from.  I chose to consume two full containers of this product within an hour after consuming 2 pizza lunchables (my favorite lunchable) and a coca cola soda pop.  It should be mentioned there is the usual warning: not to consume if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Effects / Experience

This product provided some awesome kratom-like effects.  Although I cannot give it a 5 star review, as it simply isn’t in that tier of products, it is hard to get a 4 star review, and for kratom, this is akin to those effects felt by something like Vivazen (which has been a long time favorite of mine).  The onset for me after the first bottle was about 20 minutes in, and I felt the decline about 55 minutes in, so I consumed the second bottle. This kept me happy, euphoric and energetic for about another hour or so before I declined again.  I would say 2 bottles was the perfect amount, which makes it a bit expensive, but still, worth the trip.

Final Notes

While I had not heard of Botanic Tonics or their “feel free” brand until I first encountered this product, I can say that they are likely around for the long haul. They make a nice product, and the feel and presentation is all there!  I love the glass container, and the printed information is easy to read, including the supplements facts panel.  The kava probably helps a little, but mostly this is a high quality kratom shot.  In a sea of kratom extracts, it is hard to find a good kratom shot that’s worth the investment. While it IS admittedly a bit expensive to the end consumer, I can confidently give this company a four star Fat Sammy rating!

Hemp Zone Hemp Smokes Review (CBD)

Hemp Zone

Do Hemp Zone Hemp Smokes with CBD Work?

Product: Hemp Zone Hemp Smokes (Filtered, 20 ct, CBD)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Hemp Zone (H Zone Inc, Pompano FL)

Website: https://www.hzoneinc.com/products/hemp-smokes-natural-20-pack

Cost: $16.99 (in head shop or smoke shop), $12.99 (online)

General Information

General Info

The presentation behind this product is awesome. The company did a great job of looking and feeling professional. It feels like one is buying actual cigarettes, although, they are CBD-laced hemp cigarettes. While I have never had any luck with CBD products and find them totally scammy, I do feel there is value in a CBD cigarette that might replace actual cigarettes.  The container is almost nicer than a cigarette container, with all the necessary information to understand the product.  I got the menthols, as if I would need it…as the weed-like smell is so strong it’s hardly an issue.  The cigarettes themselves are laced so heavily with CBD oil that they have some oil stains on the actual cigarettes, not that this bothered me (since I know what it is).

Administration

I assume one serving size is one hemp smoke, or hemp cigarette, however, I chain smoked a few of these babies back-to-back without any issue. The packaging is really nice, cellophane sealed, and with a nice tin foil curtain (much like actual cigarettes) which easily pulls away.  It even says “pull” on the tin foil seal inside.  The container states not to use if pregnant, lactating, or suffering from a medical condition, and that it is not for children.  It also states the classic cancer and reproductive harm warnings that one might find on a cigarette container.

Effects / Experience

Administration

It smelled great, tasted like actual weed, and I felt a full, flavor-potent blend that was enjoyable. While there was no high or buzz, or even relaxation effect, I did enjoy the scent and taste, as Fat Sammy loves his weed!  There isn’t much more to say about this product in terms of effect, other than I liked smoking them more than I would enjoy smoking cigarettes (despite the fact nicotine gives you a nice buzz and these do not).

Final Notes

In the end, the Hemp Zone Smokes are not so bad.  While they do not provide any type of buzz or high, they smell like weed, hit like weed, and are a fairly relaxing way to smoke that doesn’t involve any tobacco.  The only real downside is the price, as they are rather expensive whether purchasing in store or online.  Especially considering the cost of normal cigarettes.  The menthol flavor does help with the aftertaste, although the sticks smell exactly like weed, which is already pretty great.  I can confidently give this product a 3 star Fat Sammy rating, which is rare, ESPECIALLY for a CBD product!

Zion Herbals Gold Reserve Kratom Review

Gold Reserve

Zion Herbals Gold Reserve Kratom Experience

Product: Zion Herbals 45% Kratom Extract “Gold Reserve” (200 mg total alkaloids)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Zion Herbals, Botanaway Inc

Website: [available only at headshops and smoke shops]

Cost: $14.99

General Information

The package suggests that Zion Herbals has been around since 2010, although I do not recall ever seeing them before this kratom product.  Perhaps they are local only. They had two options in the store “Silver Reserve” and “Gold Reserve,” and of course, I chose “Gold Reserve.”  The package states there are 200 mg of total alkaloids, between the two pills. There is a GMP stamp, signifying they meet General Manufacturing Practice standards. While I am not sure about the company, the pills themselves look professionally packaged and I was excited to try it!

Administration

Administration

The package has many warnings, including: keep out of reach of children, for 18+ years or older, and do not operate while using motor vehicles or heavy machinery.  It also advises against using if one is pregnant, and to consult a doctor before use. All very professional, standard warnings for a product like this.  The supplement facts panel states 1 capsule is a serving size. One capsule contains 100 mg of 45% mitragynine extract powder, 45 mg of mitragynine, and 0.15 mg of 7hydrooxymitragynine.  I took both capsules after consuming a turkey sub from WaWa and a glass of milk.

Effects / Experience

The kratom effects of lightness, giddiness, talkativeness, and mood enhancement began about 30 minutes in.  I experienced the peak at about an hour, only to drop off quickly at about 1.5 hours.  I did want to sleep after I began to come down, but this is normal when taking a strong kratom extract. I am convinced my experience would not have been nearly as good if I had taken only one pill.

Final Notes

Altogether, this is a fine product. It works great, especially for the money…although a bit expensive for only 2 pills. While this product is only available in local headshops, it is most certainly worth the money. I can give it a 3 star Fat Sammy rating, which is hard to obtain as my standards are rather high. The packaging could use some work, but I will not let that deter me from giving it an honest rating, effects-wise. And while I would not try this again myself given there are better options, I would not discourage someone from trying it.

King Royal Trainwreck Kratom Review

King Royal

Does King Royal Trainwreck Kratom Work?

Is King Royal Trainwreck Kratom Worth It?

Product: King Royal Trainwreck Kratom (22 strains, 12 caps)

Manufacturer: Sunrise Wholesale

Website: [only available at headshops]

Price: $22.95

Fat Sams Rating:

General Information

King Royal Kratom (Sunrise Wholesale) sells a lot of kratom products available only at headshops and smoke shops.  Their brand is professional in appearance, and their packaging is flawless.  They make many products but this review is on their trainwreck product, which emphasizes 22 strains of kratom combined into one pill.  The package boasts that it is a kratom extract, insinuating all 22 strains are extracts. It claims to be lab tested, and a premium brand.

Administration

Administration

Each pill is 500 mg of Mitragyna speciosa extract.  The package has many warnings including for sale to 21+ adults, only to be used as a botanical, and that the manufacturer assumes no liability for the misuse of the product.  There are 12 pills per package, although it is presumed only one pill is a serving size. In true Fat Sammy style, I decided to take 2 pills to start on an empty stomach and 4 pills were consumed total within 2 hours.

Product Effects

Within the first hour, I began to feel the effects of the kratom. I felt happy, excited, and slightly euphoric. The effects began to die down at the 1.5 hour mark, thus my taking 2 more caps to continue the party. I proceeded to feel the kratom buzz for another couple of hours before it dithered out.  While it is not the best legal high, it is certainly worth the money and experience.  The only downside is that it is hard to find and only available at some kratom-selling locations. I did not experience any negative effects from consuming this product.

Final Words

Ultimately, I can confidently encourage King Royal’s Trainwreck kratom and the King Royal brand. I was impressed and surprised, as many brands look fancy but do not deliver. This is the case in a lot of instances when it comes to trainwreck kratom…which is a catch all phrase for “includes more than one kratom strain.”  King Royal did it right, however, and their packaging and product is superior to others.  It appears that this brand has a high quality kratom extract that is worth the investment, and definitely worth the high.

ZaZa Red Liquid Shot Review

Za Za

ZaZa 5-HTP and GABA Liquid Shot Experience

Product: ZaZa Red Liquid Shot [new formula, 2 oz]

Rating:

Manufacturer: M&J Distribution

Website: [available at local headshops and smoke shops only]

Cost: $11.99

General Information

I came across ZaZa Red Liquid Shot at a local smoke shop.  The product looks a lot like a 5 hour energy drink, although its ingredients are far difference. It looks like it largely relies upon GABA and 5-HTP as its main ingredients, although it also contains Lemon Balm and Caffeine.  There are some sugars and vitamins, probably for flavor and energy to counteract the taste and the sedative effects the other ingredients invoke. There is a United States flag, insinuating it is a USA product, although I am skeptical.

Administration

Administration

There are many warnings on the bottle, including the standard disclaimers (do not consume more than 1 bottle every two days, do not use if pregnant, consult a doctor before use). It also states not to use with alcohol or benzodiazepines.  One serving size is one bottle. I consumed two of these bottles within a 2 hour period after eating some chicken wings and downing a pepsi cola.

Effects / Experience

Instructions

Sick, sick, sick! I felt super ill after using this product. This is very abnormal for me, although, I did take double the dose. Still, I would not waste my money on it again.  This product’s peak meant violently vomiting all of my food, and dry heaving for about an hour.  I felt dizzy, disassociated (not in a good way), and overall upset that I had taken it. Regret set in about 60 minutes after taking it (unfortunately I just took the second bottle at about 50 minutes, when I did not realize I would have such a violent, terrible experience).

Final Notes

This product is dangerous in that it makes you dizzy, and gives you a sense of sickness nearly right away. I did not experience any favorable experiences from ZaZa Red, and felt it was a waste of money and time.  I was upset that I ruined the rest of my Saturday night trying this product and would not recommend it to others. The only reason it does not receive a one star Fat Sammy review, is that I felt I would have had a less horrible time if I had followed the instructions and only consumed one bottle. Still, I cannot recommend this product.
