General Product Info

Vivazen is a solid company offering a reliable product that does not change in formula very frequently.  They are sold at many head shops, which is where I picked mine up.  The bottle states the product is fast acting, provides “feel good relief,” and lists the alkaloid content of kratom on the back.  There is between 125 and 135 mg of mitragynine, and less than 0.4 percent of 7-hydromitragynine.  These are the active constituents in kratom which provide the pain relief, anxiety relief, and euphoria effects.

The bottle itself is high quality, glass, and easily resealable.  It does not leak, and it is easy to stuff in the pocket on the go.  The labeling is easy to read, and reminds people not to use Vivazen if operating heavy machinery (such as driving a car). There is a special warning that the bottle contains herbal extracts which “have been used for centuries” and that the formula should not be mixed with alcohol.

Although this is primarily a kratom extract product, Vivazen has perfected their product over the years by creating a more complex herbal blend.  This product includes kratom (mitragyna speciosa), willow bark extract, yohimbe bark extract, valerian root extract, california poppy aerial part extract, boswellia serrata resin extract, corydalis yanhusuo rhizome extract, and passion flower aerial part extract.  Mostly, however, the kratom is doing all of the work in my opinion.

Product Administration

In true Fat Sammy-style, I consumed the entire bottle all at once on an empty stomach before the Superbowl began.  I had some nachos about 1 hour after I had consumed the contents of the bottle, and a couple of glasses of water.  Other than that, I did not eat the rest of the day. The labeling includes typical disclaimers, states the minimum buying age as 18 years old, and lists the distribution center located in Arizona. The label also recommends only using one bottle per day.

If this is your first time with a kratom shot (liquid), I strongly suggest only consuming half the bottle and waiting a half an hour before you consume the rest.  Some extracts, like Vivazen, are fairly strong and can lead to undesirable side effects (nausea, vomiting, dizziness) if you take too much too fast.

Product Effects

I have used Vivazen in the past many times, and the effects are fairly reliable.  On an empty stomach, you can expect to feel the kratom kick in about 15-20 minutes after consuming.  The first effect I typically feel, and felt with this trial is a light euphoria and increased talkativeness.  Meaning, I want to chat up a storm with whoever is willing to listen to me.  I also start to notice the tip of my nose tingles, and my arms begin to itch (a percocet-esque effect, which makes sense since kratom works via opioid receptors in the brain).  I then begin noticing pain relief in my back and neck, right about at 30-35 minutes.  This bottle was perfect for me, lasting about 2 hours total, with the peak at about 1 hour.

Final Thoughts

Vivazen has been around for a long time. I do believe they have been around for more than 10 years. I have seen them in my local head shops for years as well.  Although they do appear to cost a lot, $10 is not much for a couple hours of fun.  Tolerance can build quickly with Kratom, however, which can be a bummer if you think you have found a permanent solution.  Having tried almost every brand and type of kratom on the market, I can say Vivazen is top shelf and has always been worth it. All-in-all, Vivazen has always given me a a pretty decent experience and I have never really disliked them.  I have tried this product 3 times and this most recent experience was just as good as my first Vivazen review years ago. The major difference between the previous versions of Vivazen and this latest product release is the bottle.  The previous two products were in plastic bottles similar to the 5 hour energy shot.  This bottle was made of glass. It felt and looked much classier.  Overall, although somewhat expensive, the effects and value for the money is awesome.  The only negative thing I can really say about this product is that it still tastes terrible.  Regardless, I can solidly recommend this kratom product and give it a 4 out of 5 star Fat Sammy Rating!
