I found these Legal Lean Disposable Vape Pens at my local headshop. I had purchased them alongside a CBD disposable vape pod (also Legal Lean and which I have composed another review for).  Despite the fact that CBD has always seemed very weak to me, I gave Legal Lean’s vape pens my best, most unbiased assessment. The pens themselves feel cheap, almost like a lightweight hotel pen you would literally use to sign paper with.  It’s almost like they are empty.  The wrapper was a pretty cool design, but the flamboyance of it raises attention (oftentimes unwanted attention). They come in three flavors, and my headshop sold me a pack with all three. The three flavors were grape, mango, and watermelon.

Product Administration

I chose to give the watermelon flavor a chance first, although I did try all three pens.  I puffed on each one for a good 2-3 hours, alternating between the flavors until I had tried them all.  I played some video games while I tried these pens, though the activity likely would not have mattered at all.

Product Effects

These vape pens were absolutely terrible.  I tried all three flavors and all of them tasted the same: like burnt paper.  The grape one made me nauseous. I think the guy explained that this was the highest content CBD pen on the market, however, I think it’s the highest content of bull hockey.  Yea, I used all of them up and nothing happened. Big let down.

Final Thoughts

I cannot within good conscious recommend any Legal Lean products right now.  Unfortunately, the CBD lines have been terrible, and I have not tried the syrups in over a year.  Still, the brand itself has mostly been trustworthy.  And they have sent me some free stuff in the past when I ordered directly.  I do not think the CBD pens are worth the money at all, but I do think it is worth it to try other Legal Lean products in the future.  This vape pen earns a 1 star Fat Sammy review.

I purchased my Legal Lean Disposable Vape Pod from my local head shop.  The clerk explained that this pod would be a stronger dose of CBD than I could get from anything else. I explained that I did not get much out of CBD products, but he assured me, this was the best. I purchased one of these and one of the disposable vape pen packs (which I wrote about in another article).  The product itself (the vape pod) is a little cheap feeling. It is light and breakable.  Then again, it’s pretty cheap and is marketed as disposable.

Product Administration

This vape pod is fairly easy to use and the administration is straight forward. I used the pod for roughly 6 hours on a Saturday evening.

Product Effects

I can confidently say one hundred percent that I have not experienced anything from this vape pod.  CBD has never worked for me anyway, but this product really hit an all time low when it comes to CBD.  I sucked on this vape pod for hours and nothing happened.  On top of this, the pod snapped in half towards the end of the night.

Final Thoughts

Legal Lean has made a lot of products throughout the years. Some of them are better than others. I have tried many and written reviews, especially for the “syrups.”  However, their CBD products have not impressed me at all.  I am sorry guys, I really wanted to like this, however, these vape pods are super low quality and do not provide any type of buzz, high, or benefit that I could notice.  I cannot recommend these vape pods on a good conscious.

Do KATY Party Pills Work?

KATY is an interesting enhancer sold as a party pill. It used to be sold as a sort of ‘herbal ecstasy’ but they seemed to have completely rebranded, website and all. That’s probably good, as this product was no where near as good as actual ecstasy when it was sold back in the day.  Though, now it is sold as a sort of mood booster for a party. It is marketed as a natural, herbal solution for enhancing your fun. Mostly this product is now a kava product. That being said, kava pretty much does nothing. There are a few other natural ingredients, including some light caffeine, however, mostly they are probably relying on the kava in the formula. KATY comes in a plastic tube just like it used to, despite the change in ingredients.  They do setup a special website for KATY called Katy.love (that’s the actual url, which redirects to the limitlesshere.com website).

Product Administration

I took all 4 caps within an hour before a party. I had consumed about half a turkey sandwich from Arby’s, a couple handfuls of curly fries, and a coke.  I did not eat anything before or afterwards, and I waited about 2 hours after eating before I started to consume the caps. I drank about 4 glasses of water throughout the evening in fear of dehydration. And of course I drank the equivalent of about 4 shots that night.  I went dancing with friends at a local Jamaican club.  I love Jamaican clubs, as they usually have great music for dancing.

Product Effects

I noticed a very light focus that kicked in maybe 1 hour after having consumed the fourth pill.  Ultimately, this can be attributed to the natural caffeine in the product.  I did not notice anything that “enhanced my party” or “enhanced my fun.”  The kava did not do anything. If anything, I was less sociable. I did not feel like dancing, which is unlike my usual safe.  I did not feel like talking, which is unlike my usual self. I guess you can call these side effects of KATY.

Final Thoughts

I need to mention that I have reviewed KATY before. I have reviewed many Limitless Life Supplements. Some of them are terrible. Some did work, a little. KATY used to be my favorite of their lineup. And the truth is, I would have liked to like this product as much as I had liked the previous version, however, it has been significantly altered. It is now much weaker. Most people (myself included) would argue that it barely does anything at all. KATY love “party pills” are more like DROWSY PILLS and I cannot any longer recommend them.

Doobiedust markets the idea that weed can be made stronger.  They have a formula including huperzine-a, which is non-effective when combusted (thereby making no sense to include in the formula). They claim that the huperzine a will increase acetylcholine levels, however, if you burn it all up while taking the hit, it isn’t going to do anything except contribute to carbon.  If you vape it, you’re still burning up all the huperzine.  If you eat it, it may do SOMETHING, but chances are it’s not going to make your cannabis experience any better. Regardless, it does contain some blue lotus, which is a good product.  Blue lotus is sometimes used as a legal weed substitute, however, it won’t be as powerful as pure blue lotus itself (such as Jolly Lotus).

Product Administration

I tried using Doobiedust by sprinkling it onto my bowl. I tried it multiple times throughout the night, and had a few friends offer themselves as test subjects as well. We then tried vaping Doobiedust. I also tried the oral administration on another day.

Product Effects

DUSTYN (aka Doobiedust) did not provide any type of additional stimulation or euphoria of any kind. It did not make the weed stronger, and it did not make the effects of the weed or CBD products we tried any stronger. A total of 4 people tried Doobiedust and used it in several bowls and desktop vape loads, however, none of the ‘test subjects’ reported any improvement or enhancement to the effects of the THC or CBD.

Final Thoughts

The idea of enhancing a hit of pot is unbelievably attractive to any regular stoner. After all, who wouldn’t want to get more out of their weed stash? The doobiedust, however, does not provide any type of positive enhancement at all. If anything, it makes the weed taste kind of dirty.  “DUSTYN” Doobiedust is a good idea, but the actual product doesn’t work and it is pretty expensive.  Skip the Doobiedust and save your money, then you’ll be able to afford more weed! Some of the Limitlesslife products have been okay, however, Fat Sammy cannot recommend Doobiedust.

The Red Dawn Energy supplement line has been around for a long time. Kava is a rather new addition to their supplements.  Kava has long been purportedly used for stress relief, although I have still yet to experience a kava product that works for anything at all.  This Red Dawn bottle is a small 30 capsule supply, meaning 10 servings. The product states to take 3 capsules at a time. It contains both, Kava extract and normal Kava powder.  The Kava powder is probably mostly used as a filler.  Kava has a long history of being used ceremonially, however, these types of preparations are subpar at best, so I was not expecting much.  Still, I gave Red Dawn’s Kava pills an honest attention.

Product Administration

The product bottle states 3 capsules a serving. I took this product on a total empty stomach, specifically skipping my breakfast and lunch that day. This is because I generally have no success with kava products.  After 4 hours, I took 3 more capsules as a heavy measure.

Product Effects

Even on an empty stomach, I failed to recognize any benefits at all from Red Dawn Energy’s Kava Stress Relief product. I did not have any sort of physical signs of the product working, nor did I have any stress relief. If anything, my stress actually increased slightly.  The obvious increase in stress was made more apparent after taking the second dose.  This product seemed more like a placebo though than anything else.  At least I did not notice any side effects.

Final Thoughts

I have tried a lot of Red Dawn Energy supplements, but lately they have kind of sucked. Kava has always sucked though, no matter who the supplier or manufacturer was.  I have tried all types of kava, including: wax you vape, wax you smoke, wax you eat, lotion you apply, pills you take, extract you eat, teas you brew, and all types of shots and liquid kava extracts.  Unfortunately, no kava product has ever done anything of value for me and I’ve always been sorely disappointed.  Additionally, it is also typically really expensive, making the burn hurt worse.  Red Dawn Energy tried their hand at a Kava product with these pills but the benefit is unfortunately zero. I cannot recommend Red Dawn Energy Kava Pills for stress relief or for anything else.

Red Dawn Energy makes a lot of supplements, liquid shots and other herbal blends.  These Sleepwalker pills are the capsule form of their popular “Sleepwalker Energy Shot” that did very well for a number of years.  A few things seemed to have changed from the last time I’ve tried them years ago, and I decided to write both of the Sleepwalker products a new review.  I found the 60 capsules bottle and the liquid shot for sale at my local headshop.  While these capsules were expensive, I wanted to try the pill form of their phenibut product.  Phenibut is presumably what they are focusing on in terms of mood enhancement.

Product Administration

The Sleepwalker pills bottle states that a serving is 2 capsules.  I took 2 capsules after lunch, only having consumed 1 peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a handful of chips with a coke.  I waited 3 hours and took 2 more capsules.

Product Effects

I personally chose to take another serving after the first did not have any effects.   There were two other people in the room with me, both of which took only one serving each.  Unfortunately, no one felt anything from these pills.  If it weren’t for the fact that the energy shot did not work either, I would have chalked it up as a bad batch, however, their liquid form of the same product was displeasing as well.  The Sleepwalker pills did not produce any effects for me, or my friends.  There were no side effects to the pills like there was for the liquid shot, except of course a huge hole in my wallet for a bottle of pills that do nothing.

Final Thoughts

I have tried many (probably all) of the Red Dawn Energy products. Over the years, the quality seems to have come down significantly in terms of actual effects. The products still get packaged the same ways and are still sold in all the head shops, but they just do not seem to do anything anymore.  While that sucks, there are at least many other products out there which actually DO provide good effects (be it a sedative, energy, focus, or mood enhancing effect, etc).  I would not recommend these pills to anyone though, as they were less effective than the liquid shot, and even that kind of sucked.  Sorry guys, I wanted to like these products when I realized things changed…however, they just do not meet my bar and both of the Red Dawn Sleepwalker products have earned only a 2 Star Fat Sammy Rating.

Firstly, I have reviewed many Red Dawn products, which are usually a hit or miss situation.  Some of them have done absolutely nothing for me. Others have been okay.  The sleepwalker line has been around for a really long time. And I have reviewed it before.  I just noticed when I went to my local headshop that the bottle had changed and some ingredients it looks like are different than I remember. I decided to give it another shot.  The label and bottle quality were normal, feeling much like a 5 hour energy shot style container. They are primarily relying on the Phenibut for the “effects” that are supposed to be experienced.

Product Administration

The bottle states to take only one shot a day.  I took one shot before a party, on basically an empty stomach.  I had only a bologna sandwich and a glass of water beyond that.  After waiting 4 hours, I did ingest a second bottle.

Product Effects

I did not experience anything on Sleepwalker. I have used a lot of herbal blends, kratoms, spices, supplements, legal highs, cbd products, and all types of consumables.  I have a lot of experience with the ingredients, including the Vitamin Bs and the Phenibut.  However, the headshops must have started stocking an inferior version of Sleepwalker than which was once produced…as this product no longer provides any type of mood elevation or stimulating effects.

Final Thoughts

Unfortunately, the changes that were made to the Sleepwalker product seemed to have made it less effective. Instead of offering mood enhancement, it offered a sort of mood depressant.  Instead of complementing my party, it ended up giving me a massive hangover (and it was the only substance I ingested that day, I did not even drink alcohol that night).  I will admit the hangover probably came from doing the second bottle, although, had I felt anything from the first, I would never have taken the second. I also did not get any sort of positive experience, high or feel good energy (even when I doubled down and took the second shot).  There was no increased focus.  Red Dawn used to make some good products, but Sleepwalker is not one of them and they may be going downhill lately.
