The SleepWalker Pills from Red Dawn used to be promoted a couple years ago for energy. At least, that’s what my head shop told me and that’s what the package said. Nowadays the product has “evolved” into an anxiety xanax type of product. It relies on phenibut and GABA, both known for their sedation, calming and tranquilizer effects…along with Bacopa Monnieri, known for its cognitive / alertness properties..

Product Administration

In total, I took 4 capsules within an hour. I took the first two capsules and waited 30 minutes without feeling much; therefore decided to take one more capsule at 30 minutes. I decided to take my fourth pill right under an hour in.

Product Effects

After the 4th pill, I began to feel a little bit of an energy boost. This product made me stay awake all night, but in what can only be described as an “unproductive state.” I would say that for about 20 minutes my mood was improved, however, it came crashing down 2 hours after taking the first 2 pills…and a seriously outrageous fit of anxiety overcame me. This anxiety plagued me all night and all day the following day. I should note that I tried a separate trial 2 days later, with only half the dose, 2 capsules, 15 minutes apart with plenty of water, and I felt a little less shaky but can honestly say I did not notice much of a benefit otherwise. Certainly no mood boost. As for the anxiety-relief part of the product, I would say it wound up causing me more anxiety in the end than the brief 20 minutes of relaxation I got was worth.

Final Thoughts

SleepWalker does not provide the anxiety relief I was looking for. While it may work for some people, it simply didn’t do much for me. The major crash / hangover type of feeling I had afterwards the first time (the four pill trial), makes me a little nervous of taking anymore than 4 pills in one hour. Through the years I have seen a lot of Red X Dawn products, both online and in head shops, however, I have noticed only some of them actually work.

I bought a pack of Superfly Agaric Mushrooms (specifically Amanita Muscaria Eastern European “Grade A” Mushrooms). The packet says not to operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery or take with other drugs, along with the usual “product not FDA approved” notice. There is no indicator of the date it was manufactured, but it seems the manufacturer’s website is no longer available, maybe this is from an older batch?

Product Administration

I have tried Amanita Muscaria mushrooms before and had no effect, so this time I took the entire 10g fly agaric at about 8pm yesterday.

Product Effects

Unfortunately this product did nothing for me. I did not feel any high, or experience any euphoria, visuals or even lucid dreaming, as some people had suggested I would experience. I did not have any noticeable effects of any kind. I did not fall asleep any earlier or later, and I did not sleep in any extra. No visuals, no hallucinations, no highs of any sort.

Final Thoughts

Experience used to make some really good stuff, specifically their Kratom was really good and I used to use it every day. They manufactured a few different types of Kratom and used to change the label color on the packet, depending upon what it was. For example, red label was their mid-grade 3 gram per packet Kratom pack, while black label was their 1g per pack more powerful Kratom extract. So when I saw they also sold Fly Agaric mushrooms, I had to try them and my expectations were pretty high. I feel really let down that I spent so much, and was as bold as to take the entire packet all at once, and had no effects. After looking into it more, it seems I’m not the only one, but that no one ‘experiences’ any type of effects after consuming these mushrooms (pun intended). They are not worth the money and a total scam.

Vivazen is a liquid Kratom shot that resembles the five hour energy shot look. The product says to consume half the bottle and wait 20 minutes if it is your first time, and to consume the rest as desired. It explains not to use the product while driving or operating heavy machinery. Although some other ingredients are in the formula, Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is the active ingredient they are counting on.

Product Use

I drank half of the bottle, waited 20 minutes, didn’t feel much and drank the rest of the bottle.

Product Effects

Although I didn’t feel much at first, when I consumed the entire contents of the bottle, I began to feel the onset of the Kratom. I felt my mood pick up, I was happier, easier to talk to and more engaging socially. I also suffer from extreme and chronic back and neck pains, arthritis and am regularly participating in MMA, so I have a lot of pain. However, I can say I had no pain at all for the 1.5-2 hours I was on Vivazen.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I had a good time on Vivazen and would say it lasted about an hour and a half or so. The only downside is day 2 I needed 2 bottles to get the same effect…so I can tell my tolerance built rather quickly. That and each bottle costs me $9.99. Although it is a really good high for the price, once in a while…I can’t see this being even a semi-regular thing as tolerance builds way too quickly. Still, this product gets four out of five stars, given its creativity in getting Kratom into an easy to consume liquid form that gives a temporary pain relief that can be felt. Obviously it is too expensive of a medication to use all the time, but I’d classify this as a decent legal high.

AddieUp is sold in a lot of different ways, and while I have seen it sold in my area in several different packaging types and quantities, the most common is the 2 orange capsule packs. Their packages also say things like “Power” “Energy” and “Focus.” Clearly the product is looking to simulate the effects of Adderall. The ingredient first listed is caffeine. The packaging feels a little cheap, however, the price suggests these two pills are worth the money. Especially considering the cost of 2 legit Adderall pills on the street is probably around 10-20 dollars.

Product Use

I took 1 capsule, waited 2:25 minutes and took the other capsule.

Product Effects

I felt the onset about 20 minutes in from the first pill, noticeable energy. I also felt somewhat more motivated than normal. However, about 2 hours in, I felt like complete crap and decided to take the second capsule. This was not helpful and only worsened the effects. I got the jitters. Couldn’t focus, couldn’t concentrate and started crapping diarrhea nonstop. I had then the biggest crash I have had since my friends and I drank 66 Red Bulls in a single night.

Final Thoughts

I personally wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. Feels kind of like a cheap gas station energy or sex enhancer product.

These pills are 25 mg per capsule. They are little yellow pills with a nasty looking goop inside. The packaging felt very “earthy” and I liked it, minus the label which looked like it was printed on a desktop printer (weird to see something that low quality in a headshop). Still, the salesperson swore by its effectiveness…and knowing the types of legal high products I buy, recommended I try this.

Product Use

I took all 4 capsules all at the same time, within 120 seconds with a glass of water.

Product Effects

I figured with how nasty the pills looked, they would do something great, but to no avail. This product didn’t provide any type of high or effect of any noticeable kind. The person who sold it to me claimed it would give me a body high, a pain relief basically, not a head high like THC weed. They were incorrect. My pain felt exactly the same. I got no benefit from this. Because of the expensive price, and the complete lack of effects of any kind, I have to give this product the lowest ranking, 1 of 5 stars.

Final Thoughts

I have tried a lot of other CBD products as well and neither me nor anyone I know has felt anything from any of it.

Fat Sam (that’s me) bought a 28 gram container of their Green Borneo strain of Kratom. They advertised that it came with a 1 gram scoop, which was a really cool feature to help measure the daily dose. While the container says 1 serving a day, being 1 gram a day, I am a daily Kratom user…and take about 3-4 grams a day; thus the accompanying scoop was invaluable to help measure my dosing. This Kratom was okay. I wouldn’t call it spectacular, but I would call it well priced and good mid-grade Kratom. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it.

Product Use

Being a daily user, I needed to take more than the 1 gram serving mentioned on the bottle…so I did 2 grams within 10 minutes, and another gram about 1.5 hours later.

Product Effects

The high was good… a gentle percocet-like high, that gives me a little itches in the nose and forearms. I would call it a light mood enhancer in small doses …and in 4 gram doses (over the course of 2-4 hours), it’s more sedating…which is typical of a good mid-grade Kratom strain.

Final Thoughts

Odyssey is a good company, and I have tried other Kratom products by them (including their 40 capsule Green Maeng Da) and had similar experiences. I give them a reliable 3 out of 5 stars for making consistent, well-priced products you can dose conveniently with.

Good afternoon, Internet. My name is Fat Sam. You can call me Fat, you can call me Sam, or you can call me Fat Sam.  I have been a legal high connoisseur for over a decade now and have decided it is time to share my knowledge.  There is no shortage of legal high products, including but not limited to: synthetic bud, herbal incense, spice, bath salts, uppers, downers, mushrooms, and all sorts of legal highs.  It’s always a gamble when buying a new legal high…as a large portion of them do not work at all, others work only partly as advertised, and a small percent of them work extremely well.  I will be posting reviews for every product I have tried and will try in the foreseeable future.  I will do my best to give an unadulterated, unbiased, totally objective review for each product I review.  I will be reviewing all types of legal high products, both intended for human consumption and not intended for human consumption.
