Edge77 has been around for a while. I have used them for years. They are the guys who brought us “Jolly Lotus” – a legal marijuana substitute, which I reviewed very very well. They also sell many other “legal highs” and natural, psychoactives which I have enjoyed throughout the years. I recently reviewed their “Mega Pack” which came with a number of goodies. I especially enjoyed the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose. Sadly, though, this product was not included in their Mega Pack, so I decided to purchase it separately and give it a go. Supposedly, this is a premium version of Zacatechichi, the “dream herb.” The idea is that it is supposed to send you into a trance like state during your dreams, where you become incredibly lucid, powerful, and in control. The plant itself is used by shaman, traditionally, to scry the future and have “visions.”  I am not sure I buy into all that, but I definitely wanted to try it for its lucid-inducing and vivid dreams.

There are never any usage instructions on these products from Edge77, because they are not allowed to sell their products for human consumption. With that said, I had done a lot of reading and decided that creating a tea out of about 1/3 of the ounce would be a good idea. I just brought about 2 cups of water to a boil, added the herb, and stirred until the water had reduced to about half of its original level. The herb was then strained after the water cooled, and I had my extracted Zacatechichi tea. I did a repeat trial the following night, choosing to smoke it out of a bowl. Both administration times, I did at night, about 30 minutes before bedtime.

Product Effects

Within about 15 minutes after ingesting about a cup of the tea, I began feeling incredibly relaxed, and a bit more connected with the Universe. I did doze off shortly after, and I DID have some of the most INCREDIBLE, RIDICULOUSLY LUCID DREAMS I HAVE EVER HAD! I was not only able to tell I was dreaming, but choose where I wanted to go, what I wanted to do.  I had decided to go to space, where I was able to float around without any type of breathing apparatus. I was able to look down on the Earth beneath me, which looked SO realistic! I was able to visit an old friend, and even get some advice! This lasted for a few hours, as I had woken up after hearing my dog barking in the other room and could not get back to sleep.

The smoking trial was no different. I smoked a single bowl of this herb 30 minutes before bed. I finished the bowl about 15 minutes before I fell asleep in my chair in the office and I immediately was back in control. I re-experienced some of the best parts of my high school: lunch and soccer. I also enjoyed a few other dreams, which I will not detail here…but they were quite steamy in nature. This time, I was able to stay asleep and it probably lasted about 4 hours before I lost control and woke up from the “rest of the dream.”

Final Words

Ultimately, this is one of the most impressive “trips” I have ever had. The dreams were incredible. The escape was pretty amazing…and the ability to do whatever you want in your dreams almost takes away from the pain of everyday living in a world we have literally no control over. I did expect great things, as I really like Edge77 and have been buying their various products for years…but this is the first time I can recall trying Zacatechichi, and theirs, I have no doubt, truly is “premium.” For this, I give them a well-earned 5 Star Fat Sammy Rating and I can confidently suggest this product to anyone. I do suggest smoking rather than the tea, as the experience was the same for me, despite the fact I used far less when smoking it!

I have been a long-time supporter of Vivazen and their liquid kratom shot. Branded as “feel good relief,” they have never let me down…in over 10 years I believe at this point. They are so prominent in terms of being available in many headshops across America…and I have never had an issue finding Vivazen. Whenever I am doing my reviews, I usually throw a Vivazen in the bag, even if I’m not going to review it. But I do try to periodically re-review products which I have found effective or have earned good star ratings throughout the years…as products like this do change from time to time.

The supplement facts panel states that there are 5 servings per container. I believe them, as it smells very strong and the consistency of the solution is very thick.  It has a very strong kratom smell. I believe some of the ingredients have changed…which have likely contributed to the variation of experience I have had in this trial.

Product Effects

After about 15 minutes of taking my usual dose of about 1/3 of the container, I began to feel very very strong kratom effects. It was definitely too strong, and tasted a bit more awful than normal. It also gave me a light nausea…but this is likely just from taking too much. Still, whatever changes they made that made this stronger, I think was a negative move…as it was a perfect product a year ago, in my opinion.  The effects lasted about an hour. I did not redose, as it made me a bit sick, but it was still a great experience overall…and if I would have taken a smidgeon less, it would have been a perfect experience, despite the awful taste.

Final Words

It is noteworthy that Vivazen has traditionally been reviewed by me maybe once per year for years now, and always scored at least a 4 star Fat Sammy Rating. For whatever reason…whatever changes they have made, has made this product taste worse, be a bit too strong for comfort…and leaves me feeling more nauseous. Still, it is much better than so many other kratom extracts, and I want to remain loyal to the brand…as I do believe in them.  This is my latest feedback though…and currently, I’d award it a 3 star Fat Sammy Rating…leaving it one star behind the CURRENT kratom extract forerunner, Kats Botanicals (check out my latest Kats Botanicals Liquid Kratom review – Bali 45 for more information).  If you are considering vivazen though, I still encourage this product very much!

Kats Botanicals has been around a long time. They offer professional products, great labeling, easy to read supplement facts and usage instructions, and great shipping times.  They are very widespread and have done a great job in building a brand that stands behind their products.  I have tried many of their products in the past and really enjoyed them, so my expectations for this new product, the Bali 45 Kratom Extract Shot, were rather high. There are some normal disclaimers on the label. The bottle is easy to open and reseals nicely. It’s tiny enough to keep in the pocket, but the liquid inside is strong enough to make an impact.

The supplement facts suggest there are 2 servings per container, however, I understand kratom extracts of this sort can be extremely powerful, so I took even less the first time…only following up with a second “thimble sized amount” about 30 minutes into the experience.  I had eaten a small burger and small fry before taking the first dose, as I know how hard good kratom extracts can hit on an empty stomach.

Product Effects

I began feeling the euphoric, uplifting kratom experience within about 20 minutes of ingesting a thimble’s worth of this product. I went a little too far in taking a little more at that point, but still had a pretty good time for about 1.5 hours.  When it peaked, I did feel slightly nauseous, but this was my fault for having taken too much. The product itself had supremely favorable kratom effects, reminding me much of one of my lead favorites, Vivazen. I really enjoyed this product, multiple times, with the same bottle.

Final Words

Ultimately, this is one of the better liquid kratom extract shots. Kats Botanicals produces many great kratom products and I have been using them for years at this point. They ship really fast…and they are also heavily present in many smoke shops and head shops.  They sell all types of kratom products, but their extracts are definitely powerful. I suggest approaching them with caution. The only reason I did not give this product a five star rating is due to taste, and the potency is a bit too strong…to the point I almost feel it’s too much and can easily create a poor experience without proper reservation and measuring (although, that is partially our responsibility as a consumer, the truth is, it’s very hard to measure products like this). Still, there is room for improvement, but they DO solidly earn a 4 Star Fat Sammy Rating, which is hard to do!

I have tried several Dazed 8 products over the course of the last couple of weeks.  I found them at a local headshop of mine.  Unfortunately, I have not been impressed, so my expectations were extremely low going into this particular product. Especially after having tried another vape pod from the company recently and being disappointed.  This specific product was called “Purple Dragon” and focuses on the HHC variation of extract from the hemp plant.  While they have pretty neat packaging, and it looks fun and attractive…the efficacy of the product is really what we all care about the most.

The package has the normal disclaimers on the back, but no real instructions for use. I decided to give this pod the same consideration I did the other one, and vaped on it for about 45 minutes or so, pretty consistently.

This product did absolutely nothing for me. What is worse, is it gave me a slight headache and it tasted pretty awful. I could not get the smell out of the room for a good hour afterwards, and felt like I was tasting this nasty flavor for a good thirty minutes after I was finished. I did not notice a single favorable effect from using this product.

Final Words

With absolutely no redeemable effects from this product, I cannot recommend this vape pod to anyone. I also have not had the opportunity to try an effective Dazed8 product, so I would not be able to recommend their company either. This is a shame, as their designs are pretty neat, and their company looks very professional. I honestly wanted to like this company. If they came out with a product that actually provided some sort of effect or benefit, I’d be quick to get behind them, but presently, this is not the case.  Currently, this product, like many other dazed 8 products, receives a low rating (in this case, a 1 Star Fat Sammy Rating).

I bought one of these Dazed8 O-V-O vape pods from a local headshop here. I got a few Dazed8 products while I was at it. I have reviewed some already. Ultimately, I had not been impressed, so I had low expectations, and given my many negative experiences with delta 8 and delta 9 products, my expectations were even lower. The packaging is cool, flashy, and reflective. It states this product is a limited edition.  The combination of ingredients includes HHC-O, THC-V, and THC-O, hence “O-V-O”. The product itself is called “Blue Dream.” The company is located in Tennessee and posts a general disclaimer on the back of the box. While the product claims to be made from 100% USA grown hemp and is 3rd party tested, it has no effect on the efficacy of the product itself.

There are no usage instructions, and I decided to vape on this pod for a good 30-45 minutes, puffing rather constantly.

I did not experience any effects from this vape pod whatsoever, however, I did enjoy the flavor/scent. It was quite pleasant and quite sweet.

Final Words

Frankly, vaping nicotine is better in terms of effects. And if flavor or scent is the direction you are going…a normal vape pod or juice without nicotine is far cheaper and smells far better.  Ultimately, I can only give this product a 2 star Fat Sammy Rating, mostly getting more than one star dude to its flavor. It is too pricey for something that does absolutely nothing (like most of the Dazed8 products)…and I cannot properly recommend this at this time.

I found an insanely interesting product at my local headshop recently and had really high expectations for this one. This was not CBD-based, although, it does say in the ingredients it contains some hemp, so I presume they are trying to use some of the delta thc in the bar.  It’s a really cool chocolate bar, fruity pebbles flavored. The wrapper is exactly like a high quality chocolate bar you’d buy anywhere else, but the brand is pushing mushrooms.  The wrapper claims it’s a form of “microdosing” the mushrooms. The main mushroom ingredients include Lion’s mane, Reishi, and Chaga. Although skeptical, I went into this really wanting this product to work.

There is a suggested use panel on the back of the bar that suggests starting with one square and waiting 30 to 45 minutes to assess your reaction. The product suggested that “most consumers” enjoyed 3-5 pieces at a time.  There is another “dosing recommendation” panel which states that 1-2 squares is a micro dose, producing energetic and creative effects. The same panel purports that 3-5 squares is a “mild” dose, for euphoria and relaxation. 6-9 pieces is a moderate dose, suggesting that you may need to even sit down, and could experience impaired cognition.  Finally, the last phase, “Mega” (9+ squares) indicates you are about to “blast off” and enter another reality.

Obviously, I ate the entire bar on an empty stomach.

Product Effects

Although obviously no ingredient in the bar can produce any actual euphoria or impaired cognition, I was still hopeful…but to no avail.  The fruity-pebble-flavored chocolate tasted fairly good, however, it did not produce any effects.

Final Words

Despite the fact this product is a complete rip off and that they lie directly on the packaging, it was still an enjoyable candy, so I cannot give it a 1 star review.  I also had no negative effects, which is sometimes common with products like this (headaches, stomach issues, diarrhea, etc.).  Regardless, this product feels like a “pump and dump” product…and much like a scam.  I cannot recommend this company or this product.

I purchased these MoonWlkr CBD/CBG Pain Gummies from a local headshop, where I bought another one of their products (and have already reviewed).  The clerk stated that he had faith they worked pretty well, as they sold pretty frequently. I asked him if anyone was rebuying the product, and he said he did not know.  I decided to give it a shot anyway. The label states the product is specifically for pain. There are a few disclaimers, as usual with this type of product. The batch number and expiration date are clearly displayed.

The product facts panel states there are 30 servings per container, and that 1 gummy is equivalent to a serving.  I have tried many CBT products in the past with very minimal effects, if any, ever…and I had a couple of sandwiches for lunch…so I decided to consume all 30 gummies at once. It took me about 25 minutes to eat them all, alongside a glass of water.

Product Effects

I felt a VERY (I stress VERY) mild relaxation after having consumed the last gummy.  This mild relaxation lasted about 10 minutes before I would say I felt normal again. The taste was pretty decent, but definitely not worth the money.

Unfortunately, I did not get much of any effect out of these gummies. I might have felt a little more relaxed than normal, which is very rare for me with any CBD products anyway (mostly CBD seems to be a big scam and doesn’t really work).  Still, the light relaxation and the good taste is the only reason this product scored a 2 out of 5 stars, instead of a 1 star rating.  The company is professional, and I feel they are on the right track, however, offering only delta and CBD products is a bit of a sham.  There is no real effect in my opinion, and thus, I cannot really recommend this company or their products at this time.

I purchased these “Fuego” Delta 9 gummies from a local headshop recently. I did not expect much, as I have never really had any effects from any CBD, Delta8, or Delta9 products, but I still decided to give this a shot…as I do with all new products. After all, you never know when you may find a winner. That said, They were colorful in the see-through container. The container itself was cheap feeling, but still did the job and easily reseals. The label, again, cheap feeling, even having the slogan “This Sh*t is Fire” on the front.

The instructions on the label suggest consuming half a gummy to start, waiting an hour, then increasing the dosage as needed. It also suggests not driving or operating heavy machinery after consuming the gummies.  I decided, considering I had never had any Delta 9 success stories yet, to consume all 10 gummies in one go, all at once, on an empty stomach.

Absolutely no effects, besides a slightly upset stomach. I did enjoy the taste, even though the small hint of cannabis taste is a turn off when comparing these gummies to virtually any legit candy. But seriously, in the sense of CBD or Delta laced candies, these tasted pretty good.

Despite the fact the gummies tasted better than other delta and cbd gummies…it still was not worth thirty bucks…or an upset stomach. If I could redo this experience, I would have never purchased them. They aren’t worth it, and in my opinion, weren’t even worth reviewing. I feel kind of bad saying that, but I cannot even track down the company’s website…making it seem like a pump and dump scheme only targeting headshops. I can only give this product a 1 star Fat Sammy Rating.

I picked this product up from one of my local headshops. The clerk claimed they are one of the greatest things in Delta 8, however, I admitted to him right away I typically do not feel anything from any Delta THC products. The clerk admitted he had the same problem, but that this product was different. The packaging is very professional, even with an educational panel on the inside.  The company’s website is nice, and easy to follow. I had high hopes after speaking to the clerk and went home excitedly to try this one!

The blunt contains 2 grams of Delta 8 THC.  The blunt is fairly normal, but with a tip already built in. It’s actually a really nice, glass filter.  That said, me, my girlfriend, and one of my boys decided to smoke up one Saturday…and we hit this one pretty hard…finishing the entire thing in a little over an hour between the three of us.

Product Effects

The only thing any of us noticed was the good taste and great smell of this blunt. It was definitely like a really nice incense. Other than that, unfortunately, we did not notice any actual effects (psychoactive or otherwise).

Final Words

All in all, this was a very pleasant tasting blunt, however, it did not provide any noticeable effects. It felt like smoking a fine-tasting cigar that smelled a lot like weed.  That said, I have most certainly had worst tasting and less pleasurable cigars, so there is something to be said there. But in terms of actual effects, I did not notice a single thing. Thus, I can only give Packwoods Coco Puff Delta 8 Preroll a 2 out of 5 star Fat Sammy Rating.
