Earth Kratom Bali Extract Review

Earth Kratom

Is Earth Kratom Any Good?

Product: Earth Kratom Bali Organic Extract (12 ml or 9 grams of leaf)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Earth Kratom (Fire Wholesale)

Website: https://earthkratom.com/

Cost: $19.99

General Information

I have tried other Earth Kratom products in the past and been only mildly impressed. This extract came in a small tube and claims to be a premium bali extract.  Skeptical for the price, I still decided to take the plunge and give it a shot.  The container itself it is nicely done, with an easy-to-read label, despite the fact it is so small. It is a trustworthy brand for many reasons, including the fact the container is well-sealed (even with a protective sticker to keep the cap shut until it’s broken for use).  The smell is pungent, but this is normal for any kratom extract.

Administration

Administration

The container has no use instructions, or supplement facts panel, which is a huge negative for me.  I use a lot of kratom products and the better products (such as Vivazen), almost always include a supplement facts panel.  This is because they condone the use of the product for consumption and stand by their ingredients or concoction. I decided to take the entire shot in the morning, as I had not yet consumed anything else. I figured this was the best chance at a good experience.

Effects / Experience

I felt a very mild kratom effect about 30 minutes after consuming the shot, however, ultimately I did not see much effect. It did not provide pain relief or euphoria. It did not provide any of the normal, expected kratom effects.  The only positive thing I can say is that it did not make me ill.

Final Notes

This was a mediocre kratom product. It did not make me sick, but also did not give me the usual kratom high I was looking for.  There are better kratom products out there, for half the cost.  I cannot recommend this product based upon the price. I would have to take two within an hour to feel what I wanted to feel, however, even that would be hopeful.  I can say that there is the normal kratom liquid taste, and smell, however, the effects are significantly lacking. I confidently give this product a two star Fat Sammy rating.

Edge77 Mega Pack Jolly Lotus Review

Is the Edge77.com Mega Pack Worth it?

Product: Mega Pack (1 oz Jolly Lotus, 1 oz Damiana, 1 oz Siberian Motherwort, 1 oz Wild Lettuce, 20 Premium Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Edge77

Website: https://edge77.com/The-Mega-Pack-p216235920

Cost: $216.99

General Information

I have reviewed a few Edge77 products throughout the years, however, I have never purchased their Mega Pack until now.  This package came with some products I already have enjoyed, so I knew I’d be getting at least some of my money’s worth and it seemed like a safe bet. I have reviewed Jolly Lotus and their Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds before, and loved them both.  This time, I decided to splurge and try all of them (not together obviously, although that might be interesting as well).  The company has been around for years and has always shipped to me quickly. I have always received professional service and a professional product, so the risk seems minimal on this one.

Administration

I tried each of the products separately, giving a few days in between each time. I began with the tried and true Jolly Lotus product, which I have reviewed before and given 5 stars.  I then tried the Hawaiian Baby Woodrose, which I have also previously enjoyed.  I then tried their updated Premium Motherwort, something else I enjoyed in the past, but not as much as Jolly Lotus.  I then used the Damiana a few different ways, and finally last but not least, the Wild Lettuce.

To break it down a bit further…

Jolly Lotus: I smoked a bowl, a few times. I rolled a joint with the stuff (really a blunt).  And I brewed their famous Jolly Lotus Tea (which you can accomplish by boiling 1-2 cups of water depending upon how much you want, and steeping 8-12 grams of the stuff in the water for a good 30-60 minutes before straining and enjoying).

Hawaiian Baby Woodrose: Although you can do a cold water extraction of the seeds (which I’d suggest using all 20 and letting them sit, cracked, in a glass of cold water for 24 hours before straining and consuming all at once), I always enjoy the sublingual administration method. Which basically means you just crack off the husks and then chew on them without swallowing for as long as you can take it. They taste a little rough, so I usually make it about 30-40 minutes before spitting everything out.  You can spit some as you go, but the longer you let it sit in your mouth, the more of the “legal LSA” effects you’ll have, which is kind of like a weaker LSD experience. It’s really fun.

Siberian Motherwort: This product I smoked out of a bowl. It hits harder, but its worth it.  Some people have claimed they combine it with some tobacco to make it smoother, and still get that “marijuana substitute” like effect.

Damiana: This is the spliff you want to smoke. Working it into a spliff by rolling it up with 50% tobacco gives the smoke a sweet, savory taste.  I also smoke this out of a bowl, and I can vape it at the same temperature as weed in my volcano (about 375-400 degrees F).

Wild Lettuce: This I use out of a bowl before bedtime. The entire premise of Wild Lettuce is to promote Lucid dreaming (knowing that you are dreaming and giving you the ability to control your dreams).

Effects / Experience

Each product has different effects, so I’m going to break it down like I did the administration method.

Jolly Lotus: Strongest as a tea, though it is a bit more time consuming to make.  The tea will give me that THC-edible like buzz. It is the closest thing to a weed brownie that I think I have tried, which is still legal.  When smoked, it is a lighter high, much like an energetic effect from smoking a good Sativa marijuana strain.   Jolly Lotus has been around for years. It’s a premium harvested, special Blue Lotus flower, still all legal, and without any additives or chemicals.  It’s a natural, legal, marijuana substitute that is tried and true and always works. I almost always have one of these bottles in my drawer for in between weed stash, or for when I’m on probation, which does happen sometimes.  My work also tests for weed, and smoking Jolly Lotus gets me around that, while still letting me have a good time.

Hawaiian Baby Woodrose:  This is nature’s “natural LSD” which is actually called LSA.  It can be a bit of a ritual to get the effects, but it’s one that is worth it, and fun…especially as a group. This is probably why they sell them in 5 packs (for parties). I heard one story about a group that dumped 5 packs into a punch bowl (husks removed, which is the outside of the seed after you crack it), and they had a blast.  It works well with alcohol and I can say it has always provided a good, safe trip.  The effects of this are strongest for me when I chew the seeds, but I think I’ll try the punch bowl routine next time I order from Edge.

Siberian Motherwort: This herb is interesting. It’s not as easy to smoke but it definitely feels like a good marijuana substitute.  It’s different than Jolly Lotus, and from weed, providing a bit more of a “long though process” and invoking more insight.  When I smoke Edge’s Motherwort, I feel like I’m prophesizing, or theorizing all the time.  This is a good thing, as I get the impression other people find me smarter than I actually am. LOL.  It smells alright, and doesn’t damage my bowl either.

Damiana: This is meant to be a smooth, psychoactive tobacco substitute. It works much like tobacco, however, it is a sweeter scent and a sweeter smoke. I see them advertise this sometimes as a tobacco alternative, showing the damiana rolled up into a joint.  Although I haven’t tried it myself, some people empty a cigarette, mix half the tobacco with half damiana, and re pack the cigarette.  This technique seems cleanest and provides a smooth smoke that is reported to be cleaner than straight tobacco, and a bit more psychoactive.

Wild Lettuce: This is a new favorite of mine, as it actually works pretty reliably. Out of the 5 times I tried it, as I smoked it for an entire week before bed…I had 4 lucid dreams I can remember. I was able to control where I was, what I did, how I interacted, and effectively do whatever I wanted.  This is great for people like me, as I spend most of my daytime daydreaming, wishing I could experience a fully-immersive alternate reality.  I’d give this one 5 stars as well on its own!

Final Notes

All in all I can say the mega pack was more than worth it.  I would rarely give something this expensive 5 stars, however, this is one that takes the cake. Every product in the lineup is worth the money.  I should also note they have one product which is not a part of their mega pack, Antillean Gotu Kola, which is also well worth the money and works much like a legal ecstasy,  or a legal sex drug. I have reviewed it before, and it’s really good stuff. You just make a tea out of it like many of their other products, or consume it by the tablespoon.  Bottom line though, Edge77 ships fast, supplies good stuff, and I can always count on them for a good time.  I can easily give them a 5 star Fat Sammy review and thoroughly recommend the Mega Pack.  Great work guys!

Exhale Hemp Delta 9 Gummies Review

Do Exhale Delta 9 Gummies Work?

Product: Delta 9 Gummies (30 gummies, 7.5 mg per gummy, 1.0 mg CBC, CBG, CBN per gummy)

Rating:

Manufacturer: Exhale Premium Hemp Products

Website: https://www.exhalewell.com/delta-9-gummies/Cost: $69.95

General Information

I have not reviewed many Delta 9 products yet, and thought this would be a fun one to try.  I had my hopes set high, as I always do with the Delta products, as the headshop clerk always sells me on it hard.  He said this would be exactly like eating a weed brownie.  He told me to take 4 gummies at once, instead of the recommended 1 gummy.  He also said that effects would last hours. Exhale’s label is rather nice, and the bottle is average quality.  My top was a little warped, making it harder to get on and off. The label suggests the product includes “full spectrum hemp.”  I’ll be honest here and say that given I have had poor luck with prior Delta products, I was excited to see “sugar” as an ingredient, since I’m well acquainted with that one and know it works well for me!

Administration

I followed the advice of the head shop salesclerk and consumed 4 gummies all at once, within 10 minutes on an empty stomach. I then consumed 6 more gummies within an hour, and finally, consumed the entire bottle over the course of 3-4 hours, just to be sure.

Effects / Experience

Unfortunately, like most delta products, I have noticed no effects of any kind.  This is a disappointment considering how expensive this product was.  Some people say that “delta only works for some people” but I argue that “only some people are susceptible to the placebo effect.”  The only positive thing I can say is that it did not give me an upset stomach like some other gummies, even though I consumed the entire bottle within a few hours!

Final Notes

If you are looking for a legal high, or a marijuana substitute, this is definitely not the right product for the job. There are far better things out there than CBD and “delta 8” or “delta 9.”  The gummies taste fairly good, considering they still have a hint of a weed taste.  I’m guessing that weed taste is what keeps people thinking this stuff actually works. I have yet to find a single Delta product of any kind (smokeable, edible, or oil) which does anything for me.  I believe it is a total scam.  Exhale makes a nice product, in terms of presentation, however, their gummies do not have any effects whatsoever. I was not more relaxed, I did not “get high” and I definitely did not feel any happier.  It had no effect on my mood and I would not buy it again. I strongly discourage this product, as I believe it is worthless.

NZT-48 Limitless Pills Review

Does the NZT-48 Limitless Pill by Limitless X Work?

Product: NZT-48 Limitless Pill

Fat Sam Rating:

Manufacturer: Limitless X

Website: https://shop.limitlessx.com/products/nzt-48-limitless-pill-5-month

Cost: $169.95 (5 month supply)

General Information

Limitless X is a newer company. It appears the only product the sell is the NZT-48 knock off pill. They compare their concoction to competitors such as Alpha Brain, FocusYN, and Red Bull. This is a nootropic pill, utilizing ingredients such as huperzine a and 5-HTP.  Why they would include 5-HTP alongside huperzine is beyond me, as the two ingredients most definitely conflict and have opposing effects. They claim this is a serotonin booster, but I personally see no evidence of that. The only positive thing about the product from the label and their marketing material, is that they do not include any maltodextrin, which basically means they don’t use an ingredient to create a powder from liquid (none of the ingredients are liquid anyway…). Still, I decided to give this product a legitimate chance to work, even though my gut told me it was just a marketing ploy to capitalize on the famous 2011 Bradley Cooper movie, Limitless.

Administration

The instructions, as I understand them, are to take one dose a day until the effects build up in the system.  I took my dose on an empty stomach for the first week, thinking it would give the product the best chance to work.  I then decided to try it later in the day, and even increased the dosage from 1 dose to 2 doses (at once), and later, 3 doses at once.

Effects / Experience

I did not notice anything at all the first time I took this product. I tried it a few more times, as noted, increasing dosages.  I also tried using it for nearly 30 days straight. Unfortunately, my life remained the same. I still poured myself into my normal honda civic, woke up without any reasonable motivation, and found myself struggling for the energy to do my normal routine.  I have taken other products which work better, that I significantly missed while trialing this product and I can confidently say I will not try this again.  I did donate the remaining 4 months of this product to my good friend, the trash can though, and he seemed to like them just fine!

Final Notes

Ultimately, I am sincerely dissatisfied with the NZT-48 pill.  This is my first product with Limitless X, a company that seems to primarily have been created to pursue a “real life NZT pill.” Their container is certainly normal, professional to say the least.  Their marketing was pretty sweet, causing me to believe I would experience something similar to the movie. And their price was fairly reasonable, considering you get a “five month supply,” provided you actually use it for five months, of which I never would. I probably used this for about a month before I gave up. And while I understand the notion that these types of things (nootropics, etc) are meant to build up in the system, there was never any notable build up for me, and it left me very disappointed. I cannot by any means recommend this product.  The only reason it does not get a 1 star review, is because it didn’t make me sick, and the company themselves seemed to be professionals.  That said, however, there are definitely better options in terms of stimulants and brain nootropics, some of which I have already reviewed.

Red Dawn Brain Fuel and Stamina Shot Review

Does Red Dawn Brain Fuel Work?

Product: Red Dawn Brain Fuel + Stamina (2 fl oz)

Fat Sam Rating:

Manufacturer: Red Dawn Energy

Website: https://www.reddawnenergy.com/product/red-dawn-shot/

Cost: $3.99 (online, roughly $7.99 at a head shop)

General Information

I have tried many Red Dawn Energy products, which admittedly are hit or miss. Sometimes, I rank them a bit higher than others. This is one of their newer products, focusing on “brain fuel” and “stamina.”  It is supposed to be a mixed berry flavor (although I beg to differ lol). Their sales page states that it will help you “feel the fire again” and “leave your limitations face down in the dirt.”  The label is fairly easy to read and has a “5 hour energy drink” feel to it. While there are a few ingredients which absolutely could, reasonable affect the brain and cognitive performance, I believe this product is mostly relying on caffeine to do the job.  It was a bit hard to open, and smelled a bit foul, but I still decided to give it a shot.

Administration

The serving size is one bottle, which is 2 ounces.  This means you are meant to drink the entire contents of the bottle at once. I drank two of these, at the same time, for a total of 4 ounces after eating 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and taking a zantac (pizza gives Fat Sam acid reflux these days!). I then consumed a third bottle after one hour, since I’m a bigger guy now a days as well.

Effects / Experience

Besides some light jitters, I did not experience any desirable effects from this product. The jitters came after taking the third bottle, proposing one would have to consume far more than the serving size to feel anything.  This effect though, as not desirable and did not lead to any increase in workload or productivity.  In fact, the opposite occurred: I had a massive headache, did absolutely no work, and then crashed shortly afterwards.  I did try this product once more, taking only one shot, a week later on an empty stomach and still surfaced no positive or desirable effects.

Final Notes

While Red Dawn Energy has been around for more than a decade, and I have tried many of their products, this is not a product I can recommend. I currently give this product a one star Fat Sammy rating. Additionally, it tasted terrible, and left an aftertaste I could not get out of my mouth even with the most vigorous of brushing.  The only positive thing I can say about it, are the B vitamins which are supposed to contribute to energy in general.  Unfortunately, too much caffeine and a lack of other positive ingredients most certainly counteracted any favorable effect the B vitamins would have had! I am a bit disappointed, but based upon the price, I really shouldn’t be…as you always get what you pay for!

Red Dawn Energy Sleep Walker Shot Review

Is Red Dawn Energy Sleep Walker Effective?

Product: Sleep Walker Shot Grape Flavor (2 fl oz)

Fat Sam Rating:

Manufacturer: Red Dawn Energy

Website: https://www.reddawnenergy.com/product/sleepwalker-shot-grape-touchdown-flavor/

Cost: $4.99

General Information

Red Dawn Energy created the Sleep Walker shot for those who do not wish to take their product as a capsule. I have reviewed many Red Dawn energy products, including their Sleep Walker pills, which I found admittedly a lot worse than the shot.  Supposedly, the formula is the same, only in a liquid form.  I was excited to try this updated grape formula, as I found the pills to “crack me out” a bit, with no real positive effect. I was convinced though that Red Dawn might have perfected their formula, so I decided to give their grape-flavored shot a chance.  The label is easy to read, attractive, and primarily relies on B vitamins and L-Phenylalanine for its effects.

Administration

I chose to drink two of these shots, within an hour of one another, on a near-empty stomach. I only consumed a slice of banana bread (buttered of course) and a single can of coke before I drank the first shot all at once.  I waited roughly 40-50 minutes, and took the second shot.

Effects / Experience

I did not feel much from the first shot, maybe a little energetic for a few moments. I took the second shot after that effect began to die down. This second shot gave me a bigger boost, which lasted about 30 minutes, and was quite fun.  I was disappointed that it lasted so short though, as the liquid is not very pleasurable to consume, and it gave me a tiny bit of an upset stomach.  Still, the effects warranted a three star Fat Sammy rating, and it is one of Red Dawn’s better products.

Final Notes

Red Dawn Energy has been around a long time. They make a lot of different products.  They are a head shop favorite, despite the fact half of their products do not work and the other half come with a slew of undesirable side effects. Still, I always give them a chance and am always rooting for them to come up with something that works, and works well, with little to no side effects. They are getting closer to that goal with this product.  My advice though, would be change the flavor as it tastes terrible. And maybe if the flavor were different, it wouldn’t have upset my stomach so badly.  I still like to see them try and can say that this may work for some people, even though I personally wouldn’t buy it again.
