I have seen some Terp Nation products in the past, and I know they have been around for a while.  They are professional, produce products with easy to read labels, and always include great instructions. The company is easy to find online, and it seems they offer a few different CBD products.  This is the only Terp Nation product I have seen in my local head shop recently.  It is a bit expensive, much more so than many of the other CBD products in my local store. I do like that they provide legit lab results right on their site, with a convenient QR code on the label leading directly to the results. I find the bottle very attractive on the shelf and it was highly recommended by the sales clerk.

Product Administration

The label lists the contents as 750 mg total of CBD, contained within 30 ml of solution.  This breaks down to 25 mg per 1 ml of solution. The bottle includes excellent instructions which state 1 ml to be a serving size.  Specifically, it is a sublingual administration, meaning one uses the dropper to place 1 ml under the tongue, where they are to hold the liquid in the mouth for “at least 30 seconds before swallowing.” Some disclaimers also present on the bottle include a possibility of drowsiness, ensuring the product has not been tampered with, and consulting a physician before using. I used 4 ml of this solution at a time, a few times in a row, all within an hour.

Product Effects

No positive effects were experienced from the Pineapple Express CBD Terpenes tincture.  I also think it is worth it to mention no negative effects were suffered either.  It did not taste as awful as many CBD products I have tried before, and the smell was not so bad.  No amount seemed to do anything for me, with me eventually using more than 12 ml of the solution within an hour.

Final Thoughts

Unfortunately, I did not notice anything positive from this CBD product. I did want to feel something for once with a CBD product, but I still have yet to find one that is truly effective for me. No matter how many drops of this product I used,  I did not notice any anxiety relief, nor pain relief, or relaxation.  Still, as ineffective as this product was, I cannot give this company a 1 star review, as they are most certainly professional and in terms of CBD products, I felt their presentation was very nice.  The bottle is high quality, the dropper works well, the labeling is easy to read and thorough, and they maintain a good web presence.  If you are going to try a CBD terpene, this is probably the company to go with, thus the 3 Star Fat Sammy Rating.

A lot of people send me suggestions of products to try and this is one of those products.  A very nice fellow emailed me after seeing King Kratom in their local headshop. He explained that he has seen it in many head shops and that he heard it was the best. He also explained he was a daily kratom user and had been with another brand, Experience Kratom, for a long time.  He told me that he was unfamiliar with the differences in the strains and whether he should switch from the Red Vein strain he was using through Experience products, to this White Vein Maeng Da strain with King Kratom.  As many kratom products as I have tried, I interestingly had not encountered King Kratom products before.  After dialing a few local smoke shops, I did find one which stocked King Kratom and I drove over there to pick some up.

The package itself is normal quality for a plastic jar. It is see-through and showcases 100 capsules of White Vein Maeng Da Kratom.  The labeling is largely unimpressive, but offers some information including “100% organic,” “100% all natural,” and some storage instructions.

Product Administration

The capsules are large and harder to swallow. A serving size is 1-2 capsules. There are 750 mg of kratom per capsule.  The instructions are to consume the serving on an empty stomach and not to exceed 4 capsules in a 24 hour period.  I am a very experienced kratom user, with a semi-high tolerance, so I took 4 capsules all at once. I then consumed another 2 capsules after an hour and a half, and another 2 a couple hours after that.

Product Effects

After the first four capsules were consumed (on an empty stomach), I began to notice the onset of the kratom effects about 25 minutes in.  I felt happy, energetic, giddy, and talkative. I had a light itch in my nose and on my arms about 35 minutes in. I was at a peak about an hour in, and as I noticed it dropped at the hour and a half mark, I took the next two capsules.  I carried the euphoric feeling and motivation for another hour or so. As I noticed it drop off, I took two more again and was able to achieve the peak once more.  It was a relatively fun, energetic experience, with plenty of euphoria.  I did have a major headache afterwards, probably a result of not drinking enough water. I also had a huge hangover the next day, which I was not fond of. 

Final Thoughts

King Kratom White Vein Maeng Da was a very pleasant experience in the start, but left me with a bit of a hangover. It is still one of the better, organic and non-extracted kratom products out there. It is a bit expensive, and hard to find, but it was a good buy in the end.  I would probably not rebuy it myself, but I would not discourage someone from buying it if they had it available.  And while I have reviewed better kratom products, which are also easier to obtain (online is always best these days),  I can give this product a 3 Star Fat Sammy Rating with great confidence it is better than a lot of other kratom products.

I have been a long time fan of the Experience brand, having used them for more than a decade on and off.  They are a bit more costly, but usually well worth it.  Going into this with a bias perspective, however, is not how I do things.  Therefore, I will be continuing the review as though it is my first experience with the company (pun intended).  With that said, the packaging is basic for powder or capsule kratom products.  The slogan “Feel it Fast” is printed front and center. The front of the package contains all of the labeling, with the rear being see-through.  The powder looks uncontaminated and the front of the package reminds us that it is a natural product.

Product Administration

The package supplement facts panel states 4 grams (or one “heaping teaspoon”) to be the serving size.  There are 7 serving sizes per package. There are also the regular disclaimers, including not exceeding 4 grams within a 24 hour period.

For my first trial, I took 4 grams all at once, mixed into a glass of fruit juice. I took 8 grams within 6 hours for my second trial (mixed into two glasses of fruit juice spread over time). Both trials were conducted on an empty stomach in the early evening. The plan was to watch a movie marathon with a couple of friends for both experiences. These friends also indulged in this product.

Product Effects

My first trial was a bit more pleasant than my second, probably because I took the 4 grams all at once, rather than spaced out.  Although the peak was still not as strong as to my liking, I was able to attain a reasonable relaxation and focus, with a mild ‘pep to my step.’  My friends reported similar effects, and we were able to plan an entire movie script of our own throughout the development of the first half of the movie (which is about how long the first trial lasted).

The second trial lasted a lot longer, but the kratom was spread out, with 2 glasses of juice (containing 4 grams each glass) lasting about 1.5-2 hours.  The effects themselves were a lot weaker, but still noticeable.  There was a bit of a crash at the end of this trial, probably due to the large quantities consumed.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I was mildly impressed, but a little let down by this product.  Experience Natural Labs usually produces some fairly stronger kratom products.  I will admit, however, the previous experiences I have had with the company were with kratom extracts, not kratom powder.  Still, I expected a bit more kick and a lot more of the kratom “feel good” effect.  Although I would not call Natural Labs out for the count, there are better kratom powders out there. I can still confidently award Natural Labs “Experience Red Maeng Da Powder” a 3 out of 5 Star Fat Sammy Rating.

Trainwreck kratom is a new fad in the kratom world. Many manufacturers have been producing products advertising a trainwreck concoction of some type.  Kratom Pharmacy has produced their 11 strain trainwreck in a 250 gram powder jar available online and through many headshops. I purchased mine from a headshop for the same cost as I saw it online ($59.99).  Although it appeared the jar used to have a tamper proof seal, mine did not. I am not sure if there was a return or some kind of issue, but I did not let it bother me and considered this a general oversight or error (maybe even at the headshop level, rather than the manufacturer).  The kratom itself appeared clean, finely powdered, and unadulterated. The label claims it is the highest quality kratom, fully organic, non-extracted (just leaf powder), and “100 percent chemically tested.”

I find this product’s label very attractive. It definitely caught my eye.  The headshop owner also told me that it was his #1 selling kratom product, despite the high ticket price.  The container (jar) was a standard black, plastic jar with a resealable top.  The resealable top is nice considering it is impossible to ingest the entire contents in one sitting.  It is also a higher quality jar which I plan to reuse when I am done with all of the kratom (just an added bonus).

Product Administration

The label on Kratom Pharmacy’s Trainwreck states there are 250 grams per jar and that 3 grams is a serving. This breaks down into 83.3 servings per container. 

  • For my first trial, I chose to take 6 grams all at once, toss and wash style after eating two hotdogs and a large vanilla milkshake. I figured my stomach was rather full and that it would dilute the experience a bit.  And yes, I toss and washed with a milkshake, which I do not recommend!
  • For my second trial, I took 8 grams all within 20 minutes on an empty stomach (nothing but a large glass of water). I mixed this concoction with water and drank it fairly quickly.
  • For my final trial, I mixed 20 grams of this powder into a giant blueberry juice (nearly 2 liters worth). I spaced out this experience, consuming the mixture over an entire evening.

Product Effects

I obviously tried this product three times for my review, each with a different administration method.

  • I felt my first 6 gram experience roughly 20-25 minutes after ingesting the powder.  For this toss and wash style experience, the worst part was the taste, but the delivery was fast and the effects lasted a good hour or so (with a peak around 40 minutes in).  The pep was rather high for a ten minute period, and laughter was easy. It felt very social. Although I would have to keep repeating my dose to keep the experience lasting long enough to fully enjoy it.
  • For my second experience, I took the 8 grams with a mixer (water), and I noticed the effects within about 20 minutes again. The higher dose and water delivery made it a little easier, but it did not help with the taste.  The burps were pretty disgusting and my girlfriend refused to kiss me. The experience was a bit shorter lived, ironically, probably because the water flushed the kratom through my system faster. I was pretty happy for a good 45-50 minutes though. I did have some jitters at the peak (short lived, about 5 minutes or so).
  • My final experience was a near-full 2 liter mixer of blueberry juice. This was by far the most pleasant of the three trials. Not only did it taste great, but it was easier to consume more of the product at a steady rate without the negative aftertaste, burping, or kratom overload. In other words, no jitters and pure fun for about 3 hours or so.  I wouldn’t call it the BEST kratom experience I have had by far, but it was definitely one of the better ones!

Final Thoughts

Although the cost is expensive, if you consider that you are given nearly one hundred servings, it is not so bad.  The kratom itself is fairly high quality and did a wonderful job, although toss and wash or mixing into juice is not for everyone.  It still tastes bad and it can create nausea for an inexperienced kratom user.  The actual kratom effects (the high and giddiness that comes from an 11 strain mixture) is not as great as I had hoped for, but it is reasonable.

I kind of think the strain mixing fad will pass, as I myself prefer White Maeng da still over any other strain.  And that includes trainwreck.  If you think about the fact that trainwreck includes a mixture of some of the weaker strains (borneo, bali, etc.), it takes a bit of potency away rather than adding strength. I have never seen one strain develop more tolerance than another, and it seems no matter which strains I switch between, my tolerance stays the same.  Basically, this debunks the mixture idea (trainwreck) as having a more potent effect after developing a tolerance.  Of course, tolerance is one of the number one reasons kratom users turn to trainwreck and other mixtures to begin with – in an attempt to have stronger effects after having developed a tolerance.  In the end, I can still award this product a 3 out of 5 Star Fat Sammy Rating.

I purchased this small jar of Pure Synergy Botanicals “Gold Extract” Kratom Tablets (Maeng Da) from a local headshop very recently. I had tried another Pure Synergy product and was about equally happy with it. This product, however, was a bit better, even though still not quite good enough to grab that fourth star rating.  The container is smaller, easily fits in the pocket, and resealable.  The tablets are chewable, which is new for me (first time trying a chewable kratom tablet).  It is a Maeng da extract, so I expected it to be considerably strong as Maeng da in my experience is the best strain of kratom.  There are 600 mg of extract in each container (6 tablets total). I was extremely excited about to try this product.

Product Administration

The facts part of the label indicates each table contains almost 1 full mg of Mitragyna speciosa extract, and that a serving size is one tablet.  I chose to take 2 tablets to start, and then took my next 2 subsequent tablets within an hour.  I took the final 2 tablets an hour after that. The tablets themselves smell awful and taste even worse, so be prepared with a couple glasses of water. It also takes a little while to chew these up and consume them properly.  I guess it would be possible to swallow them whole, however, these are basically horse pills and I cannot imagine this would be pleasant! I should point out I also consumed a steak and egg breakfast about 4 hours before ingesting the first two tablets.  I did not eat anything else the entire rest of the day (kratom can be a bit of an appetite suppressant, especially if you take this much all in one day).

Some of the warnings include not operating heavy machinery or motor vehicles while consuming these tablets, and not to take if pregnant or taking other medication.  The label also states you must be 18 years or older to purchase.

Product Effects

I felt the effects of the first two tablets within about 20 minutes and peaked at about 45 minutes in.  The effects were strong at their height, and it would not be possible to drive on these pills.  Although the aftertaste sucked a bit, the relaxation, pain relief, and peppiness was worth it.  The second two pills felt like they kicked on a bit faster, maybe 1-15 minutes in. They lasted about the same duration. The final pills were not as strong, probably because my body was getting a bit used to this strain and product.  If I had spaced them out a bit longer, or amongst different days I imagine they would still be equally as strong.

I wanted to also mention that a friend of mine tried this with me, consuming his entire container within about 3 hours total. His effects were fairly similar and he also enjoyed them. Although, he mentioned he might not try them again due to the higher price tag.

Final Thoughts

Pure Synergy Botanicals has produced some decent kratom products.  Their extracts are effective (both the liquid I reviewed a bit earlier this same month and these chewable tablets). The tablets are a bit large, and I wonder if they need to be this large, as I imagine the actual amount of extract within each tablet is probably rather small.  Still, the product is worthy of a firm 3 Star Fat Sammy Rating, which is truthfully a bit difficult to pull off!

My main complaint about this product is the price.  It is a bit expensive for only 2 hours or so of an experience, and the tablets taste bad.  I also find it a bit weird there is no information online about it (no website) and that it can only be purchased in person at a local headshop. If I wanted to try this again, I would have trouble finding it in person and it cannot be purchased online unless you are a store (wholesale only).  I did like the product, even though there are stronger kratom extracts available.

I have never tried Pure Synergy products before (at least that I can recall), but found a few of their products recently in a local headshop. This product, their Maeng da liquid “gold extract” is a rather small bottle, but packs a reasonable punch. I purchased it for $26.99 at my local store but see it is available online a bit cheaper ($14.99 in some places). The bottle claims that it includes 176 mg worth of alkaloids (the stuff in kratom which is psychoactive). Overall it was a pretty professional presentation.

Product Administrator

Unlike many smaller bottled products, this label was very clear and easy to read, which is one huge positive. Additionally, the container is resealable which is good considering there are two servings per bottle. Each serving is listed as 6 ml (for a total of 12 ml a bottle). The only active ingredient is Mitragyna speciosa. The label mentions that the product is for sale to individuals 18 years or older and that it is not appropriate to operate heavy machinery or drive after consuming. I chose to consume the entire contents of the bottle all at once, as I normally would with most kratom products. I consumed my bottle on an empty stomach in the early afternoon with a glass of milk to chase it down.

Product Effects

I did begin to feel a small kick from this product roughly thirty minutes after consuming the bottle. The energy and talkativeness lasted about 20 to 30 minutes (which ultimately went by pretty quickly) before I had a small crash. The crash made me a bit depressed and anti-social, which was the opposite effect I was hoping for. This crashed effect lasted about twice as long as the high it had provided.

Final Thoughts

While this product did provide some effects, the crash was ultimately not worth the high. Taking half as much likely would have resulted in no effects at all, in my opinion. I did find the product itself professional (wrapping/label, container, and overall presentation); however, the price was definitely too high for the lack of value and short-lived experience. I would give this product a 3 star Fat Sammy rating, but cannot ultimately recommend this product for purchase.

OPMS stands for “Optimized Plant Mediated Solutions.” Their gold capsules are one of the more expensive extract options. Each capsule contains about 650 mg of mitragyna specisiosa leaf extract. It clearly states it is not for sale to minors. I purchased this product from a local headshop. The clerk explained it was one of the best selling kratom products they currently offer. The package has a lot of details on the back, including that the product is all natural and that the company itself is not responsible for misuse. Basically, all of your typical disclaimers.

Product Administration

The package contains 2 capsules and states that you should “contact your healthcare professional to determine if this product is right for you, and if so, how to use it safely.” In the past, OPMS would place usage directions on the package itself, however, it appears they are now taking the stance that they are unwilling to claim any particular usage instructions. I decided to drink 1 glass of water and consume both pills with a small turkey sandwich. I ended up drinking a second glass of water through the experience itself.

Product Effects

I started to notice the effects of the O.P.M.S. Kratom Extract Gold about 30 minutes after ingesting the pills. It was not nearly as strong as I thought it would be, but it was a pleasant, talkative high that lasted about an hour total. I did get a tad of the jitters about 45 minutes in, which did not last long, and was quashed by laying down for a few moments and drinking some more water. It did also provide some pain relief, however, only for the hour which it was noticeably effective.

Final Thoughts

I have reviewed and tried other OPMS Kratom products and have enjoyed them as well, however, in the grand scheme of the kratom available throughout the entire marketplace, this extract is a bit of a let down compared to some of their other products (and competitive products). Still, it receives a firm 3 out of 5 star Fat Sammy rating, albeit a bit overpriced. I can firmly recommend this, as I do know it works and I do trust the company; and there are many other extract options which are both better and worse. Ultimately, I consider OPMS Kratom Gold extract a semi-overpriced, middle-of-the-line kratom product.

K.O. CBD products are very professional, and this product came in a resealable jar. The jar itself was tamper-sealed to ensure freshness as well. The label is a bit lacking in terms of information, however, it did reveal that there is absolutely no THC in the bud. It also revealed the CBD content to be 18.3 percent. The jar claims the bud will provide stress relief and anxiety relief. It also states it is all natural and burns slow (hugely favorable if you care about smoking it in a joint or blunt form. The jar is high quality and can be reused for other things afterwards.

Product Administration

I actually smoked almost all of this bud, less for a single half gram towards the end which I chose to vape. I use a volcano vaporizer, and it worked great with this bud, just like it would for actual marijuana.

Product Effects

Unfortunately, like most CBD products I have tried, there were no actual noticeable benefits from smoking this bud. I did like the taste and the smell, however, and it was enjoyable from an aroma perspective.

Final Thoughts

Very rarely do I give any CBD product a Fat Sammy rating over 1 or 2 stars. This is a special case, even though I still did not notice any actual benefits from smoking (or vaping) this product. I did, however, enjoy the taste and the general experience. I could easily compare it to smoking a special cigar or something of the sort. I would not expect any high, relaxation, stress relief, or pain relief though. The taste and smell was very nice though, and the jar is a nice touch. The container also kept the bud extremely fresh, and the jar is reusable afterwards. If you are merely looking for something to smoke, and do not care that there are no benefits procured from this CBD bud, then this bud would be for you!

I purchased Hard Steel from a local gas station. The package is attractive in that it looks edgy and is filled with a couple catch phrases you cannot ignore.  The first catch phrase is “When you need it to work!”  The second catch phrase is “Works with alcohol.”  If you are a dude, both of these phrases are important, because there are times when you need it to work, and also times when you need it to work while you are drunk.  The package also states it works within 30 minutes, lasts up to 2 days, and is safe.  The product contains Epimedium Brevicomum Derivative, Catuaba Bark, Muira Puama, Maca, Ginko Biloba, Panax Ginseng, and Garcinia Cambogia extract. I should mention that there is a current FDA warning on the product which states it contains substances which are not listed in the ingredients panel.

Product Administration

The packaging states a serving size is 1 capsule.  Each package has only 1 capsule enclosed in a plastic capsule container.  It smells a little funny, but taken with a glass of water, it is not so bad.  I did consume a couple of drinks with this product, specifically because it stated it worked with alcohol.  I had a turkey sandwich from Arby’s, and 2 rum and cokes.

Product Effects

I started to feel it about 30 minutes in, just like the package said. I achieved half-mast. It lasted about 20 minutes to an hour, but I could never achieve a full erection. I would say it left me feeling a little funny afterwards too, groggy but also a bit paranoid.

Final Thoughts

All in all, the product does work, but I would not exactly call it “hard steel,” if you know what I mean!  It was certainly not as strong as some of the other sex supplements I review.  It was, however, more effective than many of them as well.  I would consider this a “middle of the line” male enhancement pill.  It also most certainly does not work for days.  It worked for maybe an hour, which is not really worth it for $12.99.  While the packaging is professional, they almost always are! If you are looking for a male enhancement pill that you can truly rely on, you should keep looking.

I purchased the Red Mamba sex pills from a local smoke shop which had an entire case full of male enhancement and sex supplements. I literally purchased all of them, thinking I will just have a really awesome summer. I figure I’ll try a new one every few days and keep everyone updated here as we go. Red Mamba was up first! This one has a cool 3D, but slightly disconcerting front label. While it is cool to see a 3D label, it does make it very hard to read anything on the front of the package. Some of the claims I can make out include: “New,” “Genuine,” “No Headache,” “Best Quality,” “Long Lasting,” and of course that it increases the usual attributes (time, size, and stamina). It also claims it will last for 7 days.

Product Administration

The product comes with only 1 pill in the package. It is very hard to get out of the package, and comes in an additional plastic container. The capsule is hard to swallow and very large. It requires a glass of water just to swallow it in my opinion. I took the capsule one hour before engaging in sexual activity.

Product Effects

I did experience an erection with this product, although it did not last very long. I did feel it offered a little more pleasure than I normally would have experienced. I do feel it worked for a short while. Ultimately, I would say it only lasted about 20-30 minutes. And unfortunately, it was not enough of a libido boost to achieve an orgasm. I did also achieve a headache about an hour after taking Red Mamba.

Final Thoughts

I awarded Red Mamba a 3 out of 5 Star Fat Sammy Review, however, many products from the same Chinese factory (despite the claim it is USA made, which is a lie) do not work. This pill seems a little stronger than the Rhino counterparts which are typically sold at cheaper prices. Still, the lack of long term effectiveness, and overall lack of potency, only lands Red Mamba Sex Pills a 3 Star Fat Sammy Review. The side effect (headache) also contributes to the lower rating. I also find the 3D labels a bit unprofessional and very hard to read, drastically lowering the reputability of this product for sure.
