I have been a long-time supporter of Vivazen and their liquid kratom shot. Branded as “feel good relief,” they have never let me down…in over 10 years I believe at this point. They are so prominent in terms of being available in many headshops across America…and I have never had an issue finding Vivazen. Whenever I am doing my reviews, I usually throw a Vivazen in the bag, even if I’m not going to review it. But I do try to periodically re-review products which I have found effective or have earned good star ratings throughout the years…as products like this do change from time to time.

Product Administration

The supplement facts panel states that there are 5 servings per container. I believe them, as it smells very strong and the consistency of the solution is very thick. It has a very strong kratom smell. I believe some of the ingredients have changed…which have likely contributed to the variation of experience I have had in this trial.

Product Effects

After about 15 minutes of taking my usual dose of about 1/3 of the container, I began to feel very very strong kratom effects. It was definitely too strong, and tasted a bit more awful than normal. It also gave me a light nausea…but this is likely just from taking too much. Still, whatever changes they made that made this stronger, I think was a negative move…as it was a perfect product a year ago, in my opinion. The effects lasted about an hour. I did not redose, as it made me a bit sick, but it was still a great experience overall…and if I would have taken a smidgeon less, it would have been a perfect experience, despite the awful taste.

Final Words

It is noteworthy that Vivazen has traditionally been reviewed by me maybe once per year for years now, and always scored at least a 4 star Fat Sammy Rating. For whatever reason…whatever changes they have made, has made this product taste worse, be a bit too strong for comfort…and leaves me feeling more nauseous. Still, it is much better than so many other kratom extracts, and I want to remain loyal to the brand…as I do believe in them. This is my latest feedback though…and currently, I’d award it a 3 star Fat Sammy Rating…leaving it one star behind the CURRENT kratom extract forerunner, Kats Botanicals (check out my latest Kats Botanicals Liquid Kratom review – Bali 45 for more information). If you are considering vivazen though, I still encourage this product very much!

I found this Vivazen product in a local smoke shop. This is the first time I have seen a Vivazen product that was not kratom-based. I have used their kratom products for years and found them very effective. So given I have yet to have a truly favorable experience with CBD, I was excited to see a trusted brand release a CBD/hemp based product. The bottle is the same size as their kratom bottles, but the labeling is a white, “natural-feeling” rebranding which I found truly aesthetically pleasing. Like some of their kratom products, the front label repeats the slogan “Feel Good Relief.” The label states it contains a fast acting, “full spectrum hemp formula.” It also states that the product contains “high bio-availability” – whatever that means. And like their kratom product, the label repeats that the herbal blend contains ingredients that have been “used for centuries” and that the product should not be consumed with alcohol or while operating heavy machinery.

Product Administration

Vivazen has always been very good about instructions for use, labeling, and product information. The supplement facts panel for their liquid hemp product lists the primary ingredient as “Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Extract” and states 50 mg to be within the container. The additional ingredients include water, blood orange flavor, monk fruit extract, citric acid, and potassium sorbate. There is one serving per container and I chose to drink two of these liquid shots at once.

Product Effects

I was to expect (or so the clerk advised me at the smoke shop) some anxiety relief, relaxation, and “feel good” pain relief. Unfortunately, I did not experience any of these things. The product made me slightly drowsy, but other than that, I felt it was a total bust and waste of money. It is more expensive than their kratom shots, which actually do provide favorable effects (though nothing like what CBD is supposed to do). The liquid also had a very unfavorable taste, which included an aftertaste I could not shake for several hours afterwards.

Final Thoughts

Besides tasting awful, being extremely expensive for the quantity, and a slightly leaky container (unlike Vivazen, so I’ll chalk that up to bad luck), there was also the fact it was not effective. I do like the company and I did find the presentation to be professional and thorough. This includes the labeling and information on the label, as well as bottle choice in general. Still, I was left largely disappointed with a severe lack of positive effects and experience. Sorry guys, but as much as I like your kratom products, I absolutely hated this one and felt it was a total waste of money and time! I can only award Vivazen’s CBD liquid shot a 2 out of 5 Star Fat Sammy Rating.

Vivazen is a liquid Kratom shot that resembles the five hour energy shot look. The product says to consume half the bottle and wait 20 minutes if it is your first time, and to consume the rest as desired. It explains not to use the product while driving or operating heavy machinery. Although some other ingredients are in the formula, Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is the active ingredient they are counting on.

Product Use

I drank half of the bottle, waited 20 minutes, didn’t feel much and drank the rest of the bottle.

Product Effects

Although I didn’t feel much at first, when I consumed the entire contents of the bottle, I began to feel the onset of the Kratom. I felt my mood pick up, I was happier, easier to talk to and more engaging socially. I also suffer from extreme and chronic back and neck pains, arthritis and am regularly participating in MMA, so I have a lot of pain. However, I can say I had no pain at all for the 1.5-2 hours I was on Vivazen.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I had a good time on Vivazen and would say it lasted about an hour and a half or so. The only downside is day 2 I needed 2 bottles to get the same effect…so I can tell my tolerance built rather quickly. That and each bottle costs me $9.99. Although it is a really good high for the price, once in a while…I can’t see this being even a semi-regular thing as tolerance builds way too quickly. Still, this product gets four out of five stars, given its creativity in getting Kratom into an easy to consume liquid form that gives a temporary pain relief that can be felt. Obviously it is too expensive of a medication to use all the time, but I’d classify this as a decent legal high.
