Sleepwalker comes in an energy-shot like bottle and markets directly on the label some intended effects, including focus, energy, and mood elevation. The green apple flavor is supposedly a limited edition. It is a dietary supplement containing 2 fluid ounces of solution. The bottle states that the experience is like a “day dream come true.” It also states it is only for persons above the age of 18. The ingredients list has changed, now only including B Vitamins 1, 2, and 6, caffeine, L-Phenylalanine, DL-Phenylalanine, Skullcap, and Gaba.
Product Administration
I purchased 2 of these, as I do know from experience 1 can sometimes not be enough. I started with one full bottle with only a couple slices of buttered toast in my stomach. I consume one glass of water with each bottle. The second bottle was ingested about an hour into the experience. The bottle does state that a serving size is one full bottle.
Product Effects
About 10 minutes after ingesting the entire contents of the bottle, I began to feel the mood elevation, energy, and focus that the product labeling outlines. Roughly 45-60 minutes in, I begin to feel jitters, followed by a tremendously debilitating crash that puts me right to sleep. It also leaves me feeling unproductive the remainder of the day, sort of defeating the entire purpose of the product. Even after administering another dose (an entire second bottle), I feel like crashing. I even have bad dreams on this stuff.
Final Thoughts
I have reviewed a total of 4 other Red Dawn Energy products, most of which have received a 2 star Fat Sammy rating. This product received a 2 star rating as well, even though it tasted better. It still provided about the same effects as before, if not worse. These effects including the undesirable crash effect after about 45-60 minutes into the experience. The crash is so undesirable that it makes the light high that is experienced from the product not worth the trouble. I do think the green apple is an improvement, but I still shudder when I think about the skeleton-like crash I get right after the jitters (which clearly has not been addressed). I can only award this product a 2 star Fat Sammy rating, largely because it does do something at least, and tastes a little better. However, I would still advise people to try something else as I am largely left unimpressed and disappointed.
