I have purchased a few of the NuLeaf Natural CBD products but this is the only bottle I have had a chance to try yet. With that out of the way, I did effectively try this CBD oil and have to say, I was somewhat impressed. I am rarely impressed by CBD products, as most of them do not work at all (so much so they are not even worth mentioning). NuLeaf was professional, the package showed up 6 days after I purchased (I ordered on a Thursday). I was not as impressed with the actual labeling on the bottle. The bottle itself was pretty standard. The website claims it is CO2 extracted (which is a higher quality extraction technique, and preferred), additive-free (also great), and concentrated to approximately 50mg cannabinoids per milliliter of oil.
Product Administration
I opted for this product for its sublingual administration. I usually have good results from sublingual highs. Sublingual meaning, under the tongue administration. The serving size with CBD oil like this is usually just a few drops. Their website specifically states that this is the best method for using their CBD oil and to hold it under the tongue for about 30 seconds before swallowing. This is because the absorption is quickest under the tongue. The smell was strong, but not too unpleasant. The taste was not that bad. After a couple of seconds, I could no longer taste it at all. I rolled with roughly 6-8 drops in each “dose” and dosed through roughly half the bottle within a few days.
Product Effects
I will start out by staying I am pleasantly surprised. Normally I would be marketed CBD oil for things like anxiety relief, pain relief, and stuff like that. This was actually quite relaxing. While I would not consider this a “legal high” as I did not experience any effects similar to getting high…I was most definitely far more relaxed than normal. So much so that I did no other drugs and basically slouched around like a bum all day watching movies. I did not get any “munchies” or anything like that. In fact, quite the opposite: Nuleaf’s CBD oil seemed to work as an appetite suppressant for me. It did relax my body, and I would not call it “pain relief” or even really “muscle relaxer” but more of an overall calming effect. Each “dose” would last about 35-65 minutes or so before I’d think about wanting to use it again to keep the feeling going.
Final Thoughts
I can absolutely recommend this in terms of being basically one of the only CBD products that has done anything for me at all. Most of them do not work, or the effects are really weak. Nuleaf’s hemp extract is quite good, easy to administer, does not seem to build tolerance easily (good thing), and it shows up fast. Considering how long the bottle has lasted me, I would say it is priced right as well. This 3 Star Fat Sammy Review is definitely well-earned, as most CBD products totally suck!
